Honestly he's sandbagging, haiden just needs to go straight to a 450. I can't believe this forum.

Or if he does stay in the 250 class they should make him line up backwards with a dead engine start. It's not fair to the other guys in the class who's Dad couldn't afford to buy their kid speed and skill on a motocross bike.

It’s sad people just can’t appreciate the kid. He’s cool, entertaining and fast as hell. I personally never saw him as the next world beater but I think he will do decent. It was cool watching his dad when I was younger I was always a fan of Brian. So it’s cool to see his kids killing it in life.

People can say what they want to say about Brian, but he played the roll and the game to a tee. He worked the bad guy angle to Pastrana's All American boy persona at the height of the X-Games and Gravity Games during the peak of Freestyle mx. Those 2 both made eachother a ton of money. There are some shady stories out there about how Deegan acquired the full rights to the Metal Mullisha brand from Larry Linkogle and also his buisness dealings with MM sponsored riders. Regardless he knows how to generate money and has put his kids in the best possible situation career wise. I also liked how he was sitting in the stands with his wife, daughter, and younger son during the races. He said in an interview that when Haiden turned pro he was gonna step back, for the most part, and let the team and Haiden handle the racing stuff.

Ok he earned 4th. The way it went down not impressed. Was almost 20 seconds behind the leader and almost 10 seconds behind his teammate that crashed and started again right by him. That shouldn’t happen to generational talent. Also not super impressed when he went straight for Hymas front wheel. Real Barcia like. Luckily Hymas checked up just in time from Deegan cutting all the way to the exit.

You are literally the poster boy for Douchebag Vitard keyboard warrior....
You talked all that shit and the kid got on his bike in his first ever pro race and drug his nuts right across your face and your still hating...... Your life must absolutely suck with nothing positive to look forward to....

Yeah , not impressive at all. Star Yamaha should fire him immediately. He'll probably be pumping gas at the local am/pm in a few weeks. Dry

Did Haiden bang your girl or something? What's with all the hate?

Stand by for his next post saying he doesn't hate the kid, he just hates all the people calling him a generational talent and saying he's going to lap the field without actually producing any evidence of anyone seriously saying that.

Can you imagine all the ladies he’s gonna bag?

Ya his future is looking pretty bright on the racing and tang side. It's just going to infuriate the jealous haters even more. I was indifferent about the kid to begin with, but I'm 100% on the bandwagon now. I find it hilarious how so many grown men despise his success and how he has let his skills on a bike do the talking. 4th place in his first race! Good on you kid.

Generational  talent doesnt always set the world on fire the first time they line up with the big boys. Ricky Carmichaels pro debut was less than stellar with 8th overall. No one would have never ever imagined what he was going to accomplish. Deegan is smart, fast and talented,we will just have to wait and see where he ends up in the record books.

The problem with these comparisons (by both Deegan detractors and his supporters) and statistical analyses is that there are always going to be counters.  Ivan Tedesco got a 5th in his first ever 125 sx; Marvin Musquin got a second in his second ever 250 sx. Aaron Plessinger got a 5th.  Pretty impressive, yet they are clearly not generational riders.  James Stewart scored a 2nd place in his first 125 sx race, while RC got an 11th.  Both are icons and legends of  the sport.  These comparisons tell us very little since they are not in any way predictive of the future.  They are not even a really good thing to base assumptions about what might happen.

Haiden's future in sx/mx is yet to be determined.  The truth is, it could go either way and is hardly worth arguing over.

Well f it. If we're going to argue over stupid shit isn't his ama age still 16 because he was 16 still on January 1st? Pretty sure it goes by the age on the day of the event for pro SX/MX instead of how the amateur events work.
