We’d be in Leavenworth if we did the same thing.

Next up is Obama or Clinton. Then it'll be the whole Bush family, Rick Perry, hell they'll find classified documents at Sonny Purdues house.

Absolutely wild.

There is absolutely no excuse or reason to take classified documents to a private residence.  None, zip, nada.

Either stay at work till you're finished or have it locked up and continue another day.  Taking it home means you're either stupid or plan on using it for nefarious purposes.

Fuck these arrogant bastards.  It's time to search their asses before they leave the building.

Can’t we just hang them all with the same short rope?

Sometimes there just isn't enough rope.

How far back can we go before one was actually trustworthy? Kennedy had ties to the Irish and Italian Mafia.

The older I get the more I believe the Cabal/Conspiracy crud.

I truly believe some folks started out with good intentions. The system requires them to "go along to get along" and after a period of time, you put a good strawberry in a bowl of moldy ones, the moldy ones don't turn good.

Granted I was only 8 years old when he left office, but from the little I know of him, I think Jimmy Carter had good intentions. Unfortunately, he was way too naive for a job like that and ended up as one of the worst presidents in the country's history.

I have heard it said that Carter was one of the most intelligent men to ever hold the office...with the worst cabinet and advisors.  Just not a great judge of character.  A decent man in an indecent profession.

Lol...she's guilty as sin but she damn sure didn't invent the game.  Name any elected official that left office poorer than when they got elected.

IMHO Mr. Carter is an honorable man who ended up in a job,  at a difficult time geopolitically,  that he was ill prepared to handle.

Doubt anyone can definitively prove anything,  but I personally feel those 4 years cost him in the same way Musk is taking a financial hits for speaking his mind.

I remember when I was a kid. I was on a business trip and sat next to one of his secretaries on the plane.

No, not the kind that does his typing. I was just a dumb kid (18) and didn't know the significance of who I was sitting

next to. I might still have his business card somewhere. But in all honesty, intelligent is not what I think about when

I think about President Carter. Yes I think he was principled, but very intelligent, not so much.

He’s more intelligent than he’s given credit for by most:

“16 OCT 1952 - 08 OCT 1953—Duty with US Atomic Energy Commission (Division of Reactor Development, Schenectady Operations Office) From 3 NOV 1952 to 1 MAR 1953 he served on temporary duty with Naval Reactors Branch, US Atomic Energy Commission, Washington, D.C. “assisting in the design and development of nuclear propulsion plants for naval vessels.” From 1 MAR 1953 to 8 OCT 1953 he was under instruction to become an engineering officer for a nuclear power plant. He also assisted in setting up on-the-job training for the enlisted men being instructed in nuclear propulsion for the USS Seawolf (SSN575).”

That's the background I was speaking of.  He was recognized for his intelligence but "political" savvy and it's inherent corruption was a leap he was unable or unwilling to make.  If he was your neighbor or friend I bet he'd never let you down.

Effective POTUS...maybe not...but I've never read or heard about him being crooked.

Look up how much he charged his security detail to stay at his hotels, and his children's security and Pence's.

How many ultra rich people stayed at his hotels or played at his golf courses to get his attention and have an off the record conversation?

No doubt Trump made money as president. Not that it matters, he was gifted too much in life and he's a selfish, narcissistic sack of shit because of it.

The way they both were treated by the inside the beltway/swamp crowd is identical.
