Were's Lichtle at?

Heard he was going to do the East rounds, haven't seen him at either.
Maybe Indy?

Should be able to qualify for either class easily in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure I saw him at Atlanta with the Izzi's.
Talked to his brother Billy this weekend, says Josh will be racing at Indy... best of luck.

Cool videos thanks for the link.

The Lichtle Story.....

Josh has always been one of the fastest kids at the track going back to 50's. he earned numerous amateur national titles competing with Davi, mike, Dungy Margrath....

In his transition to the pro ranks he had some priority issues with what was important.(family) He also crushed his ankle in the process.

After that he joined the cross X team with a nagging injury, he used to come off the track in tears, I would see him take his foot off the peg on every landing. Well the tears were from the agony of defeat and the pain. Also the team had bad bikes, leading to his bike quitting on the face of a Detroit supercross triple. (re-crushing his ankle)

From there Josh was on a bad path, i really didn’t talk to him anymore, there was a point when i hated him for what he had done. Taken that talent and thrown it away.

He was painting for MAC, painting houses and apartments. There came a point when real life out side of a life of winning and money had set in. (this is something that you have to experience to know how it feels, something that riders who went from am to pro will never understand (REAL LIFE)

Our Family has always been close, living in small motorhome traveling the country we really had no choice. Most of all my mom and dad have stuck behind Josh.

It was last year that Josh had his ankle fused; this was a huge transition for him. He could run, and i remember he jumped on his bad ankle 20 times with no pain for the first time in years and he said "Lichtles Back"

He has been down in Georgia Tanning with a drive that i have never seen. It seems the saying "what dose not kill you only makes you stronger is true" I have watched him race since he was 3yrs old., I have been watching him at the arena cross races and in practice but the old speed before the injury wasn’t there. We went to Indy supercross last weekend, Practice was the same thing it wasn’t there. It was in his qualifier that I finally saw that speed I remember. I am very interested to see what happens in Daytona.

He has all the right elements for success:
-His family supports him 110%
-he is ringing at IzzIs in GA (training hard)

MCR suspention has come through huge

Oneal Gear , Utopia, Muscle Milk

And most of all his mom and dad support.

While this time has passed I earned my bachelors in marketing and i plan to do everthing of my ability to market and promote josh.

Next month we will be running a Legend of Lichtle one footer contest at www.schwagon.com. Keep you eye out for the ad in Playground mag in April.

Josh is a really nice kid who obviously comes from a good family. I met Josh and his dad years ago when he was an riding B class for Suzuki and they were always really friendly and man the kid was crazy fast and not afraid to turn it loose!! I saw him again this year at the Columbus Ohio arenacross, where he won one of the main events and he was looking like the old Josh. Good Luck in 2009 Josh!!

Josh was rippen in Daytona.

In lites practice he ran the 10th fastest lap time.

In his heat he pulled the holeshot and ended up forth.

Goning into the main got a 5th place start Duram and him hooked up in the air and he ate some dirt pretty hard.

with his from front fender gone and his bars bent he maneged to work his was back into the pack.

I think most people would have pulled off. He races with so much passion and drive now.

Its almost like the time off re-kindeled his passion for the sport.

But for now PEACE!

I will keep you updated.

Josh looked great at Daytona. Made the main and after a first lap crash, ran 19 laps in the main with no front fender. Never gave up and charged to the end.Hope he keeps it going.

Man....until today , i never really knew anything about josh. After watching the videos and so forth ,he seems like a good kid that went down hill from an injury. Maybe he was thinking "why even try" with the way his ankle was. I'm pulling for this kid now. Everyone can make mistakes , but it seems he learned from them. I wish him luck , and he certainly seems like he's focused now. Good luck Josh , with everything!

Yea I always watched him in the Winter ams and Goldcups racing Davey, Woods and others and he was fun to watch race. In 02' at MiniOs he was called up on stage during talent show to dance with two other jokers and they had the place crying laughing as they grinded on this old man who was playing the spoons earlier. It was classic. You could tell he was a good kid. Best of luck to him.

I had the opportunity to watch Josh practice at a local indoor track here in Michigan a handful of times over the winter. It was really cool to watch him slice his way around the track. Fast as hell, that's for sure.

I didn't know his story, I just thought he was a fast local. Great story and I hope he stays healthy and kicks ass in the Nats this year!

Billy, what injuries came from wrapping himself around that tree at Dutch a bunch of years ago? That was a gnarly crash.

Ok, after josh went 1st and 2nd at the baja brawl, i relized that some sponsors are looking to help josh for supercross, anyway the web site will be up soon with a new donation section (because josh is pretty much broke, racing is expensive!) He will need help to race 2010 supercross (if anyone wants to help me raise money hit me up)

He is filming a buch a new insane vidoes to put on the site!

My email is actionrush@gmail.com
