That was a proper whiplash. He looks ok though...just gonna beca mental uphill to deal with this.

Missed the start, what happened to Forkner!?

As I sit here 10 weeks post op from an ACL reconstruction... I felt that start replay.

It really didn't look good for Forkner's knee.

I thought the same with McElrath too! It's the first race, cut the throttle and stay up!

During the press conference Forkner talked about how he played it safe last year but this year he was going to go for it.

Great ride by Vohland so far, just needs to keep these kinds of rides going all year and stay healthy going into outdoors. 

Can Jett run the table?

Jett's gonna be a menace for Sexton on the 450's. 

Bumped elbows with Hampshire right out of the gate, then drifted front wheel into McAdoo's rear wheel and went cartwheeling.

I don't think luck has anything to do with Forkner's issues. He just can't seem to let off when he needs to. He pushes too hard.

If seems with the split start it necks down quickly while the guys are still accelerating. Normally it tightens up when everyone is already on the breaks and has some sense of accepted position.

The money he will make from sx plus the free time he has being able to prepare for 450 outdoors doesn't seem like a wasted series to me. He even said in a interview that he doesn't really feel ready enough yet for 450 sx, he still feels like he does too many mistakes.
