Got my first bike, a Suzuki JR50 for Christmas in 92. Over the years I got all my bikes on either Christmas or my birthday. I distinctly remember that Christmas being my favorite Christmas until my boy wakes up tomorrow with his CRF110 in the living room.

Any y’all have any memories like this? Hope everyone is having a good Christmas Eve and a Merry Christmas to all!

Day after Christmas, 2001. Roughly 20° and frozen tundra. After repeated warnings not to get my bike out because the ground was frozen I got my 01 Rm125 out and false neutraled a double in the field and broke my collar bone and spent the night in the hospital.

When I turned 21, I had saved for two years straight to take two weeks off during the holidays to travel south and ride for a week and a half. It rained pretty much the entire time and I only got to ride once 😂

2001, 11 years old. Parents wrapped the riding booklet from Yamaha. They told me it was for a riding school they were going to send me to. I was pretty stoked about that, but what I didn’t know was that behind the curtains in the backyard was a brand new 2002 YZ85. They asked me to open the curtains to let light in for breakfast and there it was waiting for me. That’s one I will never forget

Raced arenacross Christmas Eve then went out to the local track the day after Christmas with all my buddies and rode our 85s in the muddy sandy conditions all day. 2005 I Believe? Best Christmas ever. I also got my first “sponsor” at the arenacross. It was a local goggle company called Blitz Vision they would sell me goggles for 30% off but the first set was free. 12 year old me was on top of the world that weekend

Had an 03 crf450 under the tree once. That was my US Open build bike for the year. I was expecting to take one of my million hour 02's out there so it was a nice surprise as a teenager. Last bike my parents helped fund now that I think about it.
