Anyone using MOTUL?  It looks like reviews are good and they support racing.  Thinking about switching.

I have 310 hours on the original top end of my 2017 Ktm 450. I’ve only ran motul 300V from day 1 and have had zero issues. Also the color is bright green so you can see when it’s getting dirty through the site glass. Personally I don’t think there’s a better oil out there. Just did a leak down test, engine is still at 95%.

I let Yoshimura use my KLRs for the development of the 2022 KLR650 pipe/slip on.

They put Motul in them. It made the shifting a bit smoother than the basic Kawi oil and it lasted quite a while, too.

Wow!  That's a pretty amazing stat.  Are you racing or just out for a ride on the weekend?

I've heard that about the shifting.  Good to know you saw a difference as well.  Seems OEM oil isn't as high of quality as some aftermarket oils.

Was so impressed with it in my KTM 350 EXC-F, I started using it in my Honda CRF 250R

Motul 7100 4T 10W-50

Every time I change it, I can't believe how good it looks.

Yeah, I've heard it's pretty much the same color coming out as it is going in.  7100 is full synthetic too, right?  I think it is red and 300V is the green recipe.

That's a new to me.  Rotella, like tractor oil or that you can buy at AutoZone?  I think Shell makes some if I'm not mistaken.

That's good to hear!  What do you put it in?  What bike?  Seems like good engine insurance to me!

We've used Motul for years without issues.

Great products.

Had amazing results using Motul with my race team for two years. Absolutely top notch products.

I didn’t quite get there, but I sold my 2017 KTM 450 last spring with 230 hours on original top end. Still ran like a top. Motul 300V from new. I also liked that it was green (and smelled great too… 🙃)

I have not heard any negative things about the product or company!  I'm pretty sure my next oil change is going to be Motul.  Seems to be a no brainer.  Thanks for your comment.

i don’t think it’s worth the extra 8 bucks over Maxima Pro Plus for a liter. I have been using it for 3 years first in my 450 and now in my 350, also comes out clean and not with a strange burnt smell like Motorex and the shifting improved as well! That being said … Motul 7100 and 300V are both full synthetic excellent oils and i have been tempted to try them again recently!

That engine longevity is incredible!  300V and 7100 seem to be the ticket depending on how much or how hard you ride.  Thanks for that input!

I've used the Maxima Pro Plus myself in Suzuki's and a Kawi.  It's hard to find any R&D info on the Maxima stuff but seems like Motul really puts it through the paces in the lab and on the track.  I haven't heard much from my buddies using Maxima product, but people rave about Motul so there seems to be something there.  I also heard that Factory Honda uses it for Roczen, Jett, etc...

Is this a paid advertisement? Or processed ham product?

Motul is great oil, along with a few other brands I respect: Bel-Ray and Motorex. Maxima and Spectro are very good, as well.

Probably not the review you're looking for, but I've been using Motul 2T mix exclusively in every bike I've owned since '96. I even run it in my weed whacker. Nothing but positive results. I'm sure there are many others that are just as good, but I like to take out any variables by running the same stuff all the time.

I’ve used Motul since 1994. It’s pretty good, and I would put it at or above the levels of any other brand.

Their 800 2T Premix is so clean. You can run it to 80:1 with VP C12 on 250/500 2 strokes and it will be perfect.

300V Gear box oil is really good, I’ve never had a transmission failure.

They have had a Silicon Spray/Shine N Go for 25+ years similar to SC1. Fruity smell.

Their brake fluid is best in the business.

A large amount of MotoGP teams will run Motul in place of their sponsored brand.

Good stuff... been using Motul 800 and other Motul products since the mid 90's.

Motul is awesome.  I'd put any Motul semi synthetic over any American made full synthetic oil
