You bring up a valid point.
For Suzuki to have both Dungey and Pourcel would be pricey, but they're both brilliant riders with tremendous potential. It would make for a very strong 450 team.

Isn't going to happen due to $, but that was a combo I hadn't thought of.

Not diminishing anything Reed has but of the two, he's the one that has talked about retiring two years in a row already, if the right conditions to go racing were not lined up. I don't think that picking up Dungey over Reed is a negative thing for the #22, it's just a business decision. Reed can do as good if not better in another team and on another brand.
Kawasaki would be a good choice, he's good buddy with RV so that would work. Monster would do good with 2 guys like RV and CR to counter Red Bull's JS' charge to the SX title.
Honda would be smart to lay down the $$ to get CR. He would be their best chance at a title since MC and RC.
They had to choose?

Reedy blew in, blew out. Now a journeyman.

Dungey been with 'Zuk for a long time and gonna still be there with a great image and alot of success.

Speedy wants James Stewart money but he don't deserve it because potential is a term used to describe19 year olds.

If Villopoto's knee don't come together he'll be shopping this time next year too.

Look at it now? Barcia and Metcalf were tail tapping off jumps late in Moto's and shit....Metty finished ahead of the blazing fast kid wonder in points.......but Metty got nothing and Barcia gonna get paid and extended.

Kawasaki want's Cianciarulo more than Reed, Hahn, or Moss and Metcalf. And they already are paying!

SO VERY TRUE. DUNGEY IS A TEAM MANAGERS DREAM. HES YOUNG, WINNING C'SHIPS, CLEAN CUT, AND VERY MUCH LIKE RC4. THATS WHY JS7 IS A SPONSOR OF HIS OWN TEAM AND WHY CHISOLM GOT HIS RIDE. ITS ALWAYS BEEN THE BUDDY DEAL AT SAN MANUEL. EVEN WHEN REEDY WAS THERE HE HIRED HIS BUDDY RAMSEY AS TEAMMATE. IM GUESSING HILL WILL GET THE NOD NEXT YEAR ALONG SIDE STEWIE...

Well from what I have heard Allessi may not have a deal afterall and I don't think Suzuki is going to buck up to buy him out of his contract(no matter how bad they would like to see Tony go away) to be able to have CR and RD. So maybe they will have to choose between them.

But you are Dsigner and you probably know whats up.

Because after a "few years of top 5" he will be looking for another ride either staying put for MORE money or going somewhere else when his ability on a 450 peaks and some riders that are always winning have retired.........IMO not a good move but im not in charge if I was I would've kept Reed and tried to resign Dungey when he comes into his own on the 450 not sign him during the couple years it's gonna take to adjust to the 450 and win.....granted he may nab a win or two but not with the consistency Reed could've given Suzuki for the next 2 years
Couple years to adjust to the 450? You mean RACES, not YEARS. Lot of those 250 kids could beat CR outdoors now. CP, Dung, RV, and others will be in between JS and CR not too far into SX. Chad's awesome, but there's shiz happening. Oh yeah, plus if everyone shows up next outdoor, Town, Lang, Aless, RV, Grant, Dung, Chad wont even see the podiumSad

True Crush, but some actually do better! Chad has the starts, consistency, and determination to be what he is, a multi-champ. But now all these hungry kids(and some euro vets) are hungry enough to throw a wrench into the relative ease Chad has had of this years outdoors. Lets see, Tomac posted the fastest lap times, beats Wilson's(lap time), who can often beat Futrell, who gets top 5 as a new pro! There's shiz happening.

Suzuki should sign them both and finish what they started when they brought RC on a few years back....

You gonna sell that many more units with both Reedy and RD yellow?

Dungey isn't even going to see which way JS,CR,RV and JG went next season, suzuki should of stuck with Reed

Who do you think would sell more bikes for Suzuki, Dungey or Reed ?Wether He deserves it or not, Reed does not have a huge fan base in the good ol USA.If I were counting the beans I would pick Dungey over Reed because of popularity with the fans. As far as potential vs. experience I think that debate is about equal.....

I think the only reason Dungey has the fan base he has is because of who he was against for the title. If he would have been battling Barcia his following wouldn't have been so large.

Hard working, blue collar, outdoor motocross is where it's at! White collar, millionaire, SX-only, 'rock star', lazy ass f-ing pussies! That little faggot is a millionaire. Dire Straights. They forget why they started riding moto in the first place, because it's the best!
