That's seriously impressive to ride out with a broken collarbone. I doubt that there's many men that would do that, even with a championship on the line.

Here is a photo of Ashley hucking the uphill double on the newer section of Steel City. Check out that gap...only a few women were constantly making it.



She ended up crashing in the high-speed left sweeper immediately after this jump. Got a bit cross-rutted and high sided HARD onto her right shoulder. We were standing right there and nobody could believe she immediately got back up and restarted (my one buddy said, "If I crashed that bad, I'd be crying like...well, a little girl! LOL). It was obvious she was hurt though since her speed waned for the remaining laps...handlebars looked bent too.

And here's Ashley on the podium getting her WMA #1 Plate. During the interview, mentioned she was in a lot of pain and her collarbone was most likely broken (notice how she couldn't get her right arm into the sleeve of the T-shirt!). Oh yeah, that's a support Justin Weeks 381 shirt and Ashely even mentioned him during the interview. Class act and one tough chick!!!

Just read on her twitter page that she is having surgery on her colar bone on wednesday....That was a nasty wreck
