I was in Target yesterday looking at MP3 players and I saw an RCA box with a motocross bike on it. I looked a little closer and it was none other than DV............in his BooKoo days! I can't remember what the product was, but I was like what da...............

FWIW,I think he got a bit of a bad rap on the show. But I don't think it bothered him much at all.
He killed it on DV's smoker at Indy that year.
1. What did Lucky invent?
2. What happened to Justin Keeney?
Lucky has a pretty cool tool that he came up with but I believe he is still in the patent process. Jim and I found out that when you invent something and apply for a patent other companies can Ripoff & Duplicate your design and there is nothing you can do until you are granted your patent. I think Lucky is smart to wait until he has a patent in hand.
I have not seen Justin since TLD. Your right, he was killing it on the 250 two-stroke at Indy. He was going to pass Voss and win his Semi until he realized he was going to pass Voss and win the Semi. Lots of potential, but don't know where he is.
Yes Ozzy, it is in the blood. I have approached eleven companies this year, and had three tell me that they think this is something they want to do in 2010, but then later say "we can't because of the economy." I have one more that looks good. We are meeting in two weeks to see if we can work through terms. In the past I would have said we will get it done, but nowdays I cannot tell if it will happen or not. Fingers crossed.
I remember seeing Keeney's name in supercross this year, but I would say he only made 1 or 2 mains events on the West Coast. As far as I know, he didn't have a deal for the outdoors this year.
and the episodes with DV were just flat painful.
I would though of course.

I have a hint of an idea how a few things might have happened from working the Bookoo Arenacross series for its final few weeks, then hearing things thru the summer. Luckily, I got paid in full from Bookoo but I honestly thought I wasnt, still have a copy of the check! But your story I would love to hear.... if you need a wedsite/marketing/webcasting guru in the future, give me a yell, I'm just up the road a few hours and would love to have a bite and hear the stories!

suppose i watched it like a rubber neck watches a traffic pile up on the HWY
You could see Troy Adams, Michael Blose, Cole Siebler were all taking it pretty seriously. They all had good results, and no one really expected anything like that from them at the time. When they got DV though, he sure did come across as petulant.
Here is a couple of photos of DV's 2 stroke from Phx SX
And Micheal Blose at Lakewood...
Only way to live imo.
Say whats on your mind, deal with it, put it behind you, and move forward. Plus you eliminate alot of "well he told me" crap, because if he had said it, he would have said it to your face, there is no wondering.
