Hey, looking at this bike on FB and the guy’s app screen shot says 6hrs. Seems like more to me. Thoughts?

The rims and rest of the bike looks okay from what I can tell.

I’ve heard rumors that by changing the throttle body the tuner resets…call me overly careful!

Tough to tell. My frame looks like that in 1 ride from my boots but simple scrubbing with blue scotchbrite and it’s back close to new.  I’d want a good look at the chain guide and the front of the bike (fork lugs, outer tubes,  bottom/front of radiator).

Shifter tip is clean, tires look right for 6 hours, clutch cover isn’t all worn off, the frame scuffing happens immediately but cleans up easily.. looks legit to me. Maybe one of those Covid buys we watched clearing the showrooms?

Yeah, like Seth said look underneath. Bottom of the foot pegs, bottom of the chain guide bottom of the fork lugs. Take a close look at the radiator fins, that's always a good giveaway. 6 hours they should be pristine. Look at axle block areas in the swingarm see how much movement has gone on there.

The rear sprocket confirms 6 hours.  But man, they were hard hours and that would take $500-$1000 of normal market value in my mind.

And if the seller did a better job washing, we'd probably be none the wiser.

Thanks guys! Asking price is 6500.

BTW, I’m and older rider, still really a novice…can’t keep up with my 16 year old on his 125.

Currently have a 22 250 sxf and thinking I want to try the blue one. I want a bike that’s on the forgiving side…some recommend the YZ.

If I was going to ride a 250f, it would be the YZ.  I rode one recently and was very impressed with the low end grunt.  Much better than even the 2023 Austrian bikes.  The chassis felt really good too.

If it’s a 21’ you can get the power tuner app for your phone, download app and when you go look at bike get it connected and you can see amount of hours on ecu

Looks like 6 hrs to me.  Look how straight the fins are on the radiator……just needs a moto cleaning.  We are freaks

Looks like a nice bike. It looks like the guy probably didn't wash it very well after every ride but not a big deal. I wouldn't be too worried about it. Plus the 2021 has the updated cam chain which was a problem previous years.

Looks like a decent bike. But thats from looking at the pictures. A thorough look at spots that get beat. Underside of the frame, fork lugs, chain sliders, lost/mismatched fasteners. The wear of the top texture on the shifter is a good indicator.

Just have him connect to the CCU and it will tell you for sure.
