Joseph Allen would argue Vince is 2nd best in the world.

I watched all three 450 mains on YouTube, took me 30 mins or so. Not a bad race for the price I paid to watch it.

These off-season races are never fantastic anyway, just side show filler. The program felt a little flat. Ralph tired to hype it, but he can only work with what the racers give him. Emig, man that guy has some beautiful hair. He could read the 6 o-clock news with that hair line.

I seen where Chad Reed dislocated his right shoulder and broke his left hand. I guess Mrs Reed will be wiping has ass for him for a while.

I went. I would go again.
I liked the format of the racing.
Couldn’t hear the tannoy with the racing going which made it hard to follow what was happening.
The crowd loved anstie winning.
I would say there was more spectators here than the Moto gp at silverstone this year.

Not sure he’d have been all that welcome since it wasn’t in England..

It was what I expected. Couple big names and everyone else behind them. But, at the same time it was miles better than previous events in the UK and probably better than most european ones outside of the old Bercy. SX isn’t as big outside the US so trying to compare it to a long-standing series like AMA is probably a bit unfair.

Considering they had to switch the dirt to get it locally after the supplier they intended to use fell through, it did ok. Wasn’t ideal, but provided a challenge. I hope it did enough to keep going, but we will see.

His interview/commentary style is what I like to call Midwest customer service. Way over the top and try hard, forced enthusiasm.

It's not an off-season race, it's the future of supercross.
Wink

The "preeminent series for the sport of supercross", put together by a "collective of world class masterminds" to "unlock the sports global potential", taking "the sport's elite riders" to "stadiums around the world" for a "pilot season of five races".

I just watched the races and enjoyed what I saw for the most part (minus the helmet cam). It was their first attempt and I think it went better then my first attempt having relations with a woman. So I won't judge them and give them the benefit of the doubt it will improve.

Thank the guy who streamed it on youtube. WSX had nothing to do with it being free or live in this country.

I think the track and racing were fine, I think the presentation is what is leading to these perceptions. Feld is a circus company and knows how to put on a event and it goes to show how much aspects of the "show" like lighting and the broadcast go into how an event feels.

The wide track was nice and while the quality of dirt didn't look great, at least they weren't scared to pay up for plenty of it. Feld has been skimping on dirt for a few years now.

Enjoy the offseason racing you otherwise wouldn't have and quit your bitchin. It'll likely get better.

Yea Im not surprised to see more spectators here than at the gp. Thats what makes sx the premier series, as much as we as riders love riding and watching mx, when it comes down to the masses watching dirtbike racing youre not going to beat sitting in a stadium with concessions, bathrooms, city locations, and views of the entire track from 1 seat.

This series will not make year 2. Good concept but like I said before. It's the xfl comparison to the NFL. Not happening.

You're failing to understand that it was live and free here because someone streamed it. If were lucky we'll be able to watch the next one free and live on youtube. It wasn't technically free on youtube. If you had to hop on a twitch stream you'd be losing your mind. Which is likely what you'll have to do next time. You're not big on understanding how illegal streams work huh?

The guy doing the podium ceremony was horrible imo, got the podium finishes wrong and then told them to pop champagne before getting the trophies. Fire that guy. Racing was good tho, no down time at all.

Was it perfect? No. But who genuinely expected it to be first time around?
Whinging about it not living up to the advertised hype? Do you actually expect promoters to talk it down?
Was it entertaining? Hell yes. Will it get better? I’d expect so.
Bring on the Aussie round.

Going to be interesting to see how FS1 handles their commercials in the broadcast….

If the XFL had more money bankrolling it than the NFL, like this does compared to the AMA series, it probably would've worked too. If it starts next year as trash still, then yes I think it'll fail. But frankly you guys seem to forget that nobody has tried to compete with AMA SX in ... decades? 750+ races run, and evolution has created AMA Supercross as it is today. And you thought this championship's first race was going to be on par with that? It looked exactly like what a first race for an entirely new series usually looks like. A rough draft. Parts that were better, parts that were worse, gambles made, some paid off some didn't. Hard to learn from mistakes you haven't made yet.

Since Eli isn’t at the second round, no one will hold the “red plate” as the world championship points leader for the entire series…. That is rather comical.
