Yeah I'm finally just getting around to posting some pictures not real good ones just what I got with my phone in those conditions.
Came back from that journey and took my Girl camping thus the delay.
Once again the Motocross des Nations did not disappoint it was an amazing event and the USA TEAM kicked some ass!
All the guys rode GREAT in tough conditions and when we woke up Sunday morning to steady rain it was like déjà vu but they overcame. 👍
But I must say I was also very impressed with some of the Euro racers--the Italian Mattia Guadagnini was the first rider to clear the leap in Saturday's warm up slop. He turned it into doing some pretty pretty sick whips. The French was solid and a threat and Geertz from Belgian was FAST as well as Jett Lawrence what a first time performance on his 450!
The calm before the STORM....

Friday Riders Intro--Eli was pumped!

The Swedes are freaking nuts and we were close by in Lot 4. Thursday night they lit their campfire with gas and one dude caught fire 🔥 and they had to roll him around!

Well REDBUD WON and kicked our ass with typhoon type weather!
Destroyed bill's new easy up and moved my tent a few feet from the ground tarp, it was brutal!
Had to stand up in tent arms stretched out to keep from flying away with all my shit!
The ironic part is I just purchased an RV a couple months ago (it was in Arizona) and here I am in a tent that has a puddle of water and wet sleeping bag....
We had to abandon ship

Easy up carnage in back! 😬😛

Next time in this for sure.

Much calmer conditions.
Btw I must be of that " Get off my Lawn" age but the train horns and chain saw wars at 3am in the morning gets old.

So this nutjob has been to both Redbud Moto Des Nations, is he a fixture at Redbud?
He is in the same spot every year.
This is one of the more mellow videos of him

Looks like a good time even in questionable conditions!
Yes I didn't spend too much time taking some fun photos as we had a good spot with chairs and didn't feel like moving much.
In hindsight, wish we would have.
But yeah this gal from 2018 Flashed me pretty good.....
She was a Wild Thing for sure.
Wasn't sure of the new policy so I added some stickers.
But this is awesome and another great job by "The Natural" Weege.
Btw:
For all the naysayers and Negative Nancy's what you see here is purely a Mirage.
Attendance and ENTHUSIASM is down.
There's really is no excitement and this event no longer has the prestige that Beebe mentions.

Btw I wanted to try to meet some guys from Vital on here but the cell phone coverage was spotty at best and with the conditions made it tough.
I'll blame it on the Swedes for BLARING there shit till 2 and 3:00 in the morning, could not get enough sleep and woke up in a fog.
All I know is we all had a great freakin time!
had a blast
And yes phone service sucked, mine wasn't too bad (AT&T) but everyone I was with has Verizon and the network was overloaded all weekend. They would get messages hours after they were originally sent.
What color shirt or does it only show your head?
Yea Evan the Deer is quite the Celebrity, I have pictures from 2018 of him....
Don't really know the story behind him I should have asked the guys but there was so much chaos I could barely hear myself think.
How did it work out for you and your family renting the RV and everything, did you guys have a good time?
At least you were in a good Lot, 4 and 5 was mayhem!
Btw I do remember seeing you but the Chaos was INSANE!
We had a huge time in Lot 2, ventured around to lotB and 2,3,4,5,6 ECT/ have a shiZ load of pics but whats the use of posting them all on here right.
It all looks the same.
You have to attend a REDBUD MXoN to live it, learn it, Love it....Hell? any MXoN!
Yep EXACTLY!!!!👍
I've been attending Motorcycle races of all different types for over 50 years. There really is nothing like a Motocross des Nations and the excitement, atmosphere and camaraderie of people from all over the world.
The only thing that really comes close that I could think of are the USGP's at Carlsbad and the day Marty Moates WON might top everything!
That is Håkon Østerhagen on the Fantic. He was unlucky in the races unfortunately.
If you watch Kevin Horgmo´s Vlog from MXDN track walk he tells Østerhagen to do the leap. I guess he did
Can't believe the kid is only 18 years old. I like his style on the bike, very loose but WFO.
Was looking for him on Sunday but never saw him, do you have info on what happened?
