unless they do something like have endurocross, gncc, flattrack, and ama superbike included, it's not truly a grand national champion.

Uhhhh we had a grand national champion in the early 90’s for sx and mx combined.

Not sure you know the difference between the sanctioning body FIM and the promoter.SX Global. Saying the FIM is desperate doesn't fit the current or any future scenarios IMHO.

You do realize that Peacock/NBC has agreed to a multi-million dollar contract with Feld/MXSports to have it on their channels for 5 yrs…That $10M purse payout didn’t grow on a tree…Pretty sure that’s why…

Why can’t they just add the money to the purse in the normal sx and mx series? Every playoff system in Motorsports has been a fail. I get it’s only 3 races, but to a racer that means another month of busting your ass.

The lack of Monster logos is quite intriguing to me. They still have SX, and I thought they’d continue to fund the outdoors next year. Why is there no title sponsor for not only SMX, but WSX as well? It’s weird to see a new series with no energy drink title sponsor. I like it, though. Looks more professional.

Its only 2 additional races, 1 additional if you count the past years of monster cup basically being required. They took away one outdoor weekend.

That’s true. I just feel bad for the riders that’s all. I was in racing for 15 years and I know that welfare points system (playoffs) and more time away from home sucks.
