I remember the post about a kid running a couple of seconds off of the fast laps in the A class, but I didn't know he won by almost a minute. What's his name again?

So nobody remembers calling this kid in the 450C class a sandbagger? Won 1st moto by almost a minute and had laptimes close to the B class. Well looks like he got a 23rd 2nd moto (from 39th place start). And the kid that won 2nd moto got a 32nd place finish in the 1st moto. So which one is the sandbagger and how?

Noah McConahy and for the record I didn't jump on the sandbagging band wagon.

Most people dont care. It seems to me the people who whine about sandbaggers are not even close to the top five anyway or their kid is midpack.

Was it one minute or 20 seconds he won by in the first moto? Also does anybody notice the kid who went from 19th to 2nd in the 2nd moto, #55 Barnes? He's come from well outside the top 15 both motos and yet he hasn't been called out.... Oh well, its the "C" class.Cool

I musta missed it yesterday. There are cries of sandbagging every year. I'm over it. Funny that nobody cries because a rider was having "too much fun" out on the track...unless that rider is Pastrana. My son & I already have an agreement...the day he stops having fun with Moto is the day we hang it up. Amateur MX pretty much jumped the shark years ago, anyway, with the influx of 40' Motorhomes pulling 35' toy haulers & 10 year old Johnny Local C rider rolling out 14 bikes. They should just open Pro MX to all riders 10 & over. It's about that ridiculous. Too many parents trying to live through their children...//TJ

Dude. Too true...

Austin Black, who's racing LL's right now, has a factory set up for sure.

Big motorhome, like 4 or 5 bikes, all with his little #1 on them. Classic mini-bike dad too. Almost too cliche to imagine.

Then there's me, paying out of my own pocket, with my one bike I pay to fix, in the back of a pick up truck, at the track on days I don't work. It's no wonder I get roosted so much...

as long as there is a C class @ Loretta's and contingency in C & B there will be sandbagging. i've said it a million times only pay contingency to mini's to keep them going and then pay A class to keep them in the sport. C and B riders should never get contingency !!!! as well as School Boy, collegeboy etc. pay the A guys more

he was still a full 2sec's faster than everyone else in his class and still faster than 15th place in the 450A/prosport class, and dont blame this on track conditions because the pro class had the 2nd moto of the day and C class had the 9th. noah just crashed hard on the second lap and fell aways behind.

So he was faster than the 15th place A rider big deal. I bet the 15th place A rider never was fast enough to win the B or C class as he was moving up. And being 2 seconds faster a lap is no big deal.

It's pretty sick seeing the parents pouring everything and the 2nd mortgage into this. Me we throw a couple 85's in the back of the mini van and hit every track within a days drive. Sometimes my kid can hand it to those "factory kids".

We used to have a flats boat and throw a dart at the map of Florida and go fish it. Now it's something similiar looking for mx tracks to go ride. And when there happens to be a month a little extra cash is in the pocket we'll go find a race.

My kids riding buddy is 10 and been to Lorettas 5 times now, we're going to start throwing some fishing fun and throw the dart fun when he gets back. They both went through a 2 month boot camp together to get his buddy ready. So I'm planning on some big fun when he gets back, hope he betters the 8th he got there last year!!

Have Any of you been to the track and watched the c class races this week? I bet none of you have. Have you noticed his 250f class results? There both around 20th place. So he won the first moto by 20 plus seconds or whatever. He probably got the holeshot and had a clear track in front of him. That will make a huge difference. Just because that wasn't your kid doesn't mean you all have to bitch and complain. Eli tomac is a sandbagger too. Anderson moved up, so did barcia to the nationals and anstie too. They steped up. What a bunch of crybabies in this thread and yesturdays. Get A life. By the way I do live in the same state as this c rider everyone is bashing on but I don't know or have never seen him

Funny, because someone in that thread mentioned that the big difference between C and B or A is consistency.

I forget who, but he was a bit of a geek (or a synonym of that).

Yeah was just waiting for peelout to give me the stfu. Believe me I'm the polar opposite of what the term "mini dad" is known as. Kid wants to go fish we go fish. One thing I am guilty of is being a proud dad. Kid's won us more money fishing redfish tournaments than any of my other fishing buddies.
