.atch every Moto he’s in without blinking!
When was the last time speed, style and personality aligned like that in our sport? Stewart? Or do we even have to go back to McGrath?

For me it’s the race-craft. Hangs out, takes stock of the race, and strikes when the time is ripe

People need to pump the brakes a little. Jett is fantastic, but this was 1 race in semi-muddy conditions with a LOT on the line. Chase was riding smart while Jett knew he had to hang it out as they were behind in points, when Chase likely knew he just needed to be smart and avoid mistakes to get a top 2 overall. Jett's going to be great and he's going to be a challenger in the championship runs next year but DF14 and CS23 will most definitely have something to say about it all.

I really like Jett and think he is fantastic for the sport, but anointing anything on him at this point is way premature.

To deny ANY accolades to Jett is pure denial.

You can pump the brakes all you want. He's the darling of the media, has 2 championships, is doing himself, his family, his team and country proud. He has speed, style, goofiness, and makes a stack of mistakes in between crazy fast rides. He places family high in his focus and apparently is the most annoying person on the planet.

The world loves what the Lawrence family has bought to motocross racing. Pumping brakes ain't gonna change any of that.

He’s definitely exceeding my expectations of his debut on a 450, but I thought he would do well still. Geerts has been a real eye opener to me, dude is hauling.

Yeah! So all hail to his family! Doesn’t change a thing about his speed, style and personality!

If he keeps progressing like he has ,he's going to do some damage in the AMA record books.
He's amazing!

Can’t deny the talent of both Lawrence’s but maybe they both need to swallow some humble pie - to say in an interview that they will be Team Australia for years to come is completely disrespectful to those riders who can quite capably perform exceptionally well for Team Australia. The riders we have here in Australia and overseas currently are world class. It’s a team which is “selected” each year!!

Who out of the current Australian riders would you replace Mitch with though?

People have been saying this in one form or another ever since he went pro. He has proved them wrong at every opportunity and that he is something special.

It’s not about who is or isn’t better. It just annoys me how they (Jett and Hunter) just announce publicly that they are Team Aust for years to come. Maybe be more respectful for the process of selection. As for current riders - Beaton, Webster, Tanti not to mention some great young talent coming through Minear.

Seems like a weird thing to complain about. Do you think they won't be a part of the team for years to come?

Jett and Hunter will be team aus whenever they are available.
Mitch got a moto 5th.
The only other rider capable is Webster and Duffy if he never had his injury.
The issue will be in 2 years hunter won't be mx2 anymore.

I don’t think humble pie is the right way to put it, because I think they are right. But perhaps some modesty could show they are humble…..Confidence is a necessity in professional sports though.

Count me in as a Jett fanboy. Idgaf if it hurts your twat or not he’s so talented, fast and cool. The dude is next level. Will also add that DF14 is a beast also. This sport is quick to forget (me included). Cool

But I guess someone like Jed Beaton probably didn't love to hear that

Jett is going to have a lot of people arguing about how good he is for a bloody long time because of how he does it.

His pace is exceptional but he’s also so patient. If he forced everything all the time like Bubba or Rc did people would think he is more mercurial, but his patience and race craft is what is going to etch his name in the books.
