Doesn't anyone else see what is going on with states like California outlawing the sale of ICE powered cars?
Right now you have most likely at least 20 suppliers of fuel for your car just on your commute to work.
Once the government outlaws ICE powered vehicles they are effectively controlling the supply of fuel that they have a monopoly on. Anyone knows what happens when there is a monopoly?

All kidding aside, this is not good for anyone.
Thank God it's just a game.

Go Gavin Newsome.
Funny to find out Newsome's parents have contributed to Ron Desantis's campaign.
He also tried to tell the economically immature Dems in California that the state does not have anywhere near the infrastructure to support the EV's they are mandating.
They ignored him because he was an inconvenience to their utopian dreams. It also means that these assholes do not care about the hardships they put us unwashed through. That was obvious when they shut down the economy. I keep thinking that at some point in time, the people here in California, will wake up and quit voting for these POS democrats. I guess I have utopian dreams too.

*Thermostats get set automatically*
CA already has that feature; you can opt-in to let them turn your AC off every now and then. No thanks.
My ideal electricity scenario would be to have a massive solar array, a big battery, and street power only when my battery runs low. I'll put a master switch on the whole thing so I can turn the electric company off.

Nothing to see here folks...I'm just over here stockpiling food, fuel and firewood as fast as reasonably possible.
If it was about efficiency why hasn't the 6 cycle engine ever gained traction?
What is that you ask? You'll find out soon enough.
We already have solar lights in the yard, they were cheap and work surprisingly well. Just the cheapies that you stick in the ground, no wires, no controller, just stick em where you want light at night, easy.
I have a problem with spending over 15 or 20 grand for a system that's hooked into the grid. I've talked to a lot of customers with solar electric houses and they still get electric bills, plus the panel payment. Some have payment agreements that require a 10plus year commitment. Most said the salesman told them "During summer you'll be generating more than you need and the electric company will buy it from you" Haven't found one that got a check for electricity generation. With the do it yourself rv style set up no one has to know shit, except your meter spins less, and it's not SUPER expensive

If you are supply constrained, why lower your average selling price?
