"We will race him when it’s time” ~Brian Deegan
Alabama’s own favorite son Jordon Fancher was denied entry to Ironman raceway’s pro national due to a full field 2 weeks prior to the event after earning his pro license at Loretta Lynns ranch.
Meanwhile Haiden “Dangerboy” Deegan was allowed to race the event when at the time the field was “full” he was still a “B” rider and had not accumulated the full amount of points required to even register for the event.
What gives?
“Jordon we will race him when it’s time”
Degan needs to take a break, take some time to be a kid and have some fun without cameras around

What he is doing now, most of us pay to do.
If he removes the first sentence, what do you take from the post?

Only time will tell with Deegan but I'm pretty sure he will do ok by the time his retires.
These guys also have pretty good cover. Lloyd's is my guess.
Going back to your question how he got into Ironman over the local rider, I have no idea. Perhaps ML will have the answer.
Ps. Not arguing with you brutha, you asked a legit question.
Privateers just need to realize their place in the MXSports world.
MA made MILLIONS and its not even a question? He was the most highly touted amateur of his generation other than James Stewart and had factory rides for over a decade many of which he was the marquee rider on the team. Very poor choice in rider to choose for someone to compare to "not making it" lmao.
Think about the kids that come out of Loretta's, maybe they had already planned to give it a shot, knowing he would meet the requirements by the date?
Like a lot of people, I am guessing... Did the Dude even ask why he was refused after Deegan was allowed? That would be the best answer, rather than have your buddy come on Vital and bitch about it, right?
Truth sucks, get over it.
So all factory riders will be given this allowance.
Getting the pro licence also says the same thing.
If a rider was bumped out coz the entries were full that would be a shit go but there wasn't.
I also think there were a couple other riders given then late entry at the discretion of the ama.
Pit Row
Let's all remember he was 1 minute behind Jett when he had his tumble.
If the truth is too hard then get out of the sport. I said what happened. He went DNF-24. That's the truth. Is that hard to handle? If so go back to local racing.
