Seems really down on himself. Doesn't have that confidence he had. I know he's had a rough time but it was just sad to hear him on his podium interview. He seemed real down on himself. I wonder if he gets treated like shit at the races by all his peers and people in the industry? I for one would love to see him get some confidence back and start winning some races. He can do it.
It must really suck to have made 750k in a year, just to piss it away.
Yea poor Jason, the whole motocross commuinty is against him and for what, a few mistakes made by a kid, poor guy.

No wonder he can't get clean.
Hope this got him motivated and back on track he is an awesome talent on a mx bike..... If he keeps it on teh straight and narrow he'll do real well next year in SX
Remember when me and Bell had to come get you from The Ritz? haha!!!
It is very easy to criticize him and tell everyone here on Vital how he "should" be doing it. But in the sad reality, I don't know of anyone on this thread who could come anywhere close to J-Law if they had a year to train and he just got high on the couch all year.
The dude is super fast and super talented. Yes he makes bad decisions, but so what. None of us truly know what is happening.
Chad Reed likes him and said so after Daytona and so did Nico Izzy on the RacerX Post-Show. Izzi said he loves the guy and that Jason actually has a good heart.
i'm not surprised he got 3rd overall...i'm just surprised that he finished 2 motos in a row!
Sounds burned out on MX.

In my opinion he is one of the most naturally gifted guys out there, hopefully this is bottom for him and he will turn it around.
It really would be a shame if he just faded away because I think that he has more titles in him.
Maybe he is in a place where he can start working with someone like Ryno again, that seemed to be when he was at his best and there is no denying that would be a good influence..
All joking aside, there has to come a point where you really look in the mirror and take responsibility for what is happening to you.
Yeah he is down, and it sucks. I don't think talking about the media and how they report on the bad stuff, and talking about how nobody likes him is the solution.
Its gotta start with him understanding that he has created this mess, and believing that he can pull himself out of it. It may take take some time, but he is still placing the blame elsewhere from the sounds of the interview.
much of the issues are due to the fuckhole friends...so called friends he has. shame really...
i also think he doesn't like crowds or talking in front of them...like he almost doesn't want to do well so he doesn't have to talk up there. i could be wrong though but that is what it seems like.
