I don't think the teams have any say in it. The regs say FIM issues the numbers. I think 101 through 103 is neater anyways.

How many times is this for Tanel Leok? It’s gotta be close to, if not over, 20 years.

Yup. 23 years from the first one, and 21th MXDN. Missed the two last one due the injury

I think Jett will ride the 450 great . But having him ride the 450 instead of the 250 is about the biggest FAIL in the history of mxon. If he rode the 250 he might be able to get a great result on it . Say he gets a 3rd overall in the race . Winning the 250 class . Cooper could be second in 250 but back in 10 th overall that s huge ! . They have basically threw away the best chance they have ever had to win the race .
I think Hunter is very capable of finishing high on the 250 too though. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him finish top 3 overall.

He could win the 250 class . But would probably be back at least in 9/ 14th in the race .where as Jett could win Jett could win the 250 class and could be in 3 rd to 5 th, That s a huge points difference.

He went 4-8 in 2017 and 7-2 in 2018. He's a better rider now, he will be fine. I also don't think Hunter would get better or similar results on the 450 compared to Jett. Team Australia will be more than fine.

Problems for Johan Boonen, the teammanager of the Belgian team that was previously selected for the Motocross of Nations. Jeremy Van Horebeek had a serious crash during the first heat of the MXGP race in France.
A first examination in the mobile hospital that is present at every Grand Prix showed that the unfortunate Beta Factory rider has broken two ribs, suffered a hematoma from the fractures and a nerve is pinched in his left shoulder, leaving him xith little feeling in his hand. Jeremy must stay under observation at the hospital in Saintes for 2 to 4 days.
Meanwhile Johan Boonen already contacted MXGP rider Brent Van Doninck as a possible replacement in the OPEN class. Brent is extremely motivated to join the Belgian team.
Tomorrow Johan Boonen will contact Jeremy to have a better view on the situation. Only when all the correct news has been gathered the teammanager will make a decision.

I think he d get the same result s on the 450 as the 250 . I think Jett could beat him on the 250 . That would put them in a great position.

I’m a bit on the fence with this. IMO Hunter would likely get similar results to Jett on the 450 (guessing because we haven’t seen either), but the decider for me is starts.
Jett is consistently a better starter than Hunter, so the team would be better off with Jett on the 250 based on that factor alone.
Of course I’ll be very happy to be proven wrong when the mud settles at Red Bud.

Good. If they're not gonna show up with actual Puerto Rican riders, then stay home. It's about time the FIM put a stop to it.

Maybe, but it also makes more sense to go with Jett on the 450 when he rides outdoors next year and they already figure out some base settings for him. We kinda have to accept that MXON is not the most important thing in this sport..

There's apparently going to be an 'FIM Latin America' team this year for the first time. Basically for riders from countries in that federation who can't afford to put a team together...

The year is 2022. Cost of living is skyrocketing. Humankind is in downward spiral supported by petty conflicts and food shorage. Tanel Leok is riding for Estonia in Red Bud! The nature is healing. The balance is restored...

FUUUUUUUUUUDGE

Before it gets official i have bad news. Czechia will not send team due to financial reasons... And other horseshit excuses.... If Latvia can send team without Jonass we can send team without Polák...

But Julius Mikula should be part of FIM Europe team that should be made from non MXGP-and non-MX2 riders...

Despite FIM Europe team sounding like facebook-mom-like bs it is official on the czech federation website HERE in czech language
