Time for the sand hell! It's going to be a tough one, as temperatures around 30°C are predicted on Sunday. Additional classes are EMX250 and EMX125.

You're not wrong on that - it's debilitating at any time, that "flat smooth" ( the sort of moronic comment from those that really don't know GP Motocross) track.

But , Bloody Hell, you think it will only be 30C this weekend?

From what I can gather, over in Pommie Land and much of Europa, it's like a nasty Australian summer ( 40C + ), this week Dizzy Blink

It will be fearful stuff, even if it's only your projected 30C.

I'm in the north of England and this was yesterday, don't get me wrong I'm in no doubt that the accuracy of my vans thermometer is questionable, but it has been extremely hot for this part of the world.

Was supposed to be going, but decided to pass with all the protest stuff in europe.. been stuck once, not happening again... likely be fine but i am not risking a vehicle for the sake of seeing a race .

Will be great as always.

Yes I am aware of that, but it has been very hot in Europe, like hot even by Australian standards and very cold over here. I personally cannot recall any time that it has been this cold for this long

Hope the riders are prepared with ice baths between races and do all they can to stay safe. The loss of Josh Lichtle at Red Bud in 2011 due to heat stroke was tragic.

My favourite race of the year, you can't beat watching the best ride a track that mere mortals struggle around. My avatar is Anstie at Lommel doing an enormous jump that wasn't even meant to be an option, the lines develop like nowhere else.

Has the race been delayed, it’s says on MXGP-TV 13:40 but when I watch live it’s says it’s coming on at 14:25?

Technical difficulties it seems, I'm having that too but it was bugged before this when I tried to log on it said the broadcast hadn't started yet and was just a black screen with that message, had to wait for it to disappear to play the ad and then get onto this. Not sure what the schedule is usually like but it seems like that's the EMX250 warm up out there, can't tell if anyone is on the gate though, the longer I type this the more likely it seems like it's delayed.

Just went on the MXGP live timing site, seems like the schedule changed without notice and the time on screen is correct, it will be EMX 125 race 1 then for some reason it will be MX2 qualy race then MXGP qualy race and EMX250 race 1 will go last

Dunno what's going on. Nothing on MXGP or MX vice Twitter about it. Live timing is showing nothing at the moment either. Typical that in this age of instant global communication, we don't know what the hell is going on.

Two groups that I think are randomly selected qualify, 17th in the first group should put her 33rd, whichever group has the fastest lap gets to go first then they alternate
