Now that the live tv option is out the window, would moving the nationals back to Sunday make more sense?

Screw this saturday thing. Anyone who works at a dealership has a really hard time getting to any of the nationals.

I only think Sunday would be better if they do practice and qualifying on Saturday like it used to be. I don't think the Teams would like that though.

I’m a fan of Sunday races and Saturday qualifying myself.

How is live TV out the window? And what does that have to do with Saturday vs. Sunday races?

I like Saturday because then I still have my Sunday free and can moto also.

However, I do understand how many work Saturday and can 't make it out.

I like them on Sunday for attending in person and watching on TV. I could make it to 3 rounds without having to take any time off work or be in a major rush to leave Friday after work. I’d prefer to get my riding in Saturday then have the option to go Sunday if Saturday doesn’t work out. If I want to watch live on Saturday then I have to hope everything works out to ride Sunday. I’m in the minority according to the pole which I find surprising.

Saturday. That way I still have Sunday to do whatever before going back to work.

I meant in the sense of network, cable tv programming. That was the reason I was told for the switch to Saturday races, network tv time.

The races are currently broadcast live on cable television. Four straight hours of live moto on MAVTV, five hours if you count the PulpMX lead-in show.

The series went to Saturday to appease the teams, nothing to do with TV.

U.S. on Saturday and Canada on Sunday is working for me.

As for Live TV being "out the window"?

Sure, at the moment we're in the midst of a bit of a shit-show; but, it will get sorted out.

I wouldn’t call MAVTV a major network. I don’t believe we will ever be considered a major sport in the eyes of the public, why don’t we concentrate on keeping the diehard fans happy?

I work most Saturdays, Sunday would be a better choice for me.

I really hope the live moto shit show gets sorted out, i know there are people working hard to make it better.

I’m not as old as some of you, as long as I can remember being a fan (early 90’s for me), I keep hearing how moto is the next big thing and it hasn’t happened yet. Not trying to be a pessimistic, just looking at history and where we are now.

Personally I rather like Sunday more but not when it's an american broadcast because it runs into midnight here and I need to get up Monday morning. :D But I also watch sx until 6-7 am so..
I do understand when It's annoying for people having to work on saturdays and they automatically can't watch any of the broadcast at all.

Well, I guess technically going to just a 1 day format (Saturday) is what the teams wanted to help with travel. They wanted 1 day not two like it used to be. And not travel as in easier to get there, but travel as in allows them to get home and rest, prepare for next week sooner.

Leave it on Saturday so it doesn't interfere with me watching MotoGP on Sunday. And that broadcast is so professional it makes MX/SX look like amateur hour.
