Little info on why russians threaten to kill Elon Musk.
Ukrainian software guys designed software that connects all artilery to all kinds of recon devices. They are able to corect fire of each individual piece of artilery and now they can shoot from different locations to one target. That messes up anti-artilery geolocation equipment and ukrainian artilery is basically invisible. And all of that is connected to Starlink internet and russians are not able to harm it. Starlink satelites are level above anything russians know.
Ukraine used to use Stratcom or something like that satelites, but russians hacked it and made useless day before invasion.
Four days ago when russians thretened Musk was the day ukrainian artilery foiled russian bridging attempt, destroying 73 pieces of tanks and APC`s. Russians are pissed.

There are reports russians tried to cross this river 9 times. There is close to 100 pieces of equipment.
Looks like these tanks were deliberatly sunk to not be captured when russians were retreating. Look at the track marks on a bank.

They have piss poor recon. Ukrainians let half of force cross the river and then lit them up. There were multiple resque missions that failed too. Whoever was on a right side of the river had to swim back, leaving everything behind.
And this goes back to my Elon Musk post. Russians did some reacon, did not see big arteliry grouping anywhere near, so decided to cross. Usually artilery shoots from one position, 10-20 pieces and are easily spotted.

Fighting is extremelly hard in Donbas area. Russians throwing everything to the front to get any kind of victory. It can`t last long but is sure bloody. Ukrainians retreat only when there is nothing left to defend. West side of city of Popasna does not exist anymore. Ukrainians retreated to new fortifided positions after 2.5 month of fighting. There was nothing left to defend.
Mariupol`s Azovstal is being bombed 24/7 from ships, tanks, air and mortar.

That bridging attempt was a part of a bigger plan to surround big grouping of ukrainians. Not sure russians have enough force to try it again (I`m sure russian generals will order to). Russians unable to advance head on.
Pink circle is where bridging attemt was. End of blue line is where they were supposed to connect with units from Popasna. Distance around 30-35 miles.

Ukraine is counterattacking north of city of Izyum. If they are succesful, they can cut off big group of russians near Izyum. That would be major blow.
