Of course, hearsay is just that but what I was told is he was on a PC Kawasaki at Dade yesterday. Guy claimed to see him but who knows. As of now I don't put a ton of trust into that info.

I know he is a just a kid but does anyone remember him on Pulpmx during the pandemic at some rich guys house in Texas when his dad was co-hosting? Good lord that kid was annoying. That's all I ever think about when I hear his name. You could tell Steve was about to lose his shit.

Every 1 is saying evan is 16. He is already 17 and turns 18 later this year.
He is 1 of the few kids that's dob doesn't come straight up. But at monsters cup 2019 when he won the super minis he was already 15. So he turns 18 between lorettas in august and mec in October.

i understand the hate. Like that dude from page 1, i think it's waste because he has just been getting straight outrun by everyone this spring. may be jumping the gun a bit but he should be doing better than he has this year.

Evan has been battling injuries all season. He’s a nice kid if he’s 16-18, 5th-1st etc. Anyone who rides that much is managing something injury wise all the time or just plain lucky to not be. He hasn’t seemed all that happy on the Husky imo, many (all) the Orange group kids switched out to FC and others this year, I don’t think that air stuff is any good personally (light me on fire).

I think it will be Star (guess) just due to location and that 38 will be the only amateur left there.

I agree this could be better, but he could be dealing with a number of things this spring. Either way, the goal of the Area and Regional is to qualify. Nobody cares about where you finished in your regional when August arrives. It does "appear" like he is racing classes with lighter fields, but the same could be said for Deegan.

With most kids riding ktm group bikes through minis now. Ktm really need to step up their 250 game , they have not produced a sx champion from amateurs ,

With hunter and Jeff both 450 bound in few years he could be an option for the Honda 250 team behind hymas.

With triumph coming in. There may be a ride there , but at the moment. Star Yamaha is clear ahead and then Honda and kawi ahead of the ktm group teams for bringing kids through

Last time I qualified for LL's in the 90's I was there by myself and Evan's Granddad was camped next to me. After he found out I was there alone he wrenched for me all week. The Ferry's are good people.

Personally i think the family is great ,very nice people ..Evan is a great kid but for some reason i just dont see it happening when he turns pro..I hope my opinion is completely wrong because i dont feel im hating on any kid its just what i see ...

The Swoll stuff was just a bit of banter, they pretty much took him in and helped raise him for a number of years.

But yes, Evan came across rather arrogant. Big shoes to fill with his old man, his even bigger head could be the real problem.

Love red dog but his kid doesn't look that magical if I'm honest. I doubt he would make much of a dent in the pro ranks. No doubt he will land a factory ride for big bucks and privateers like Wageman and Lopes will wipe the floor with him when he turns pro.

Comments about seeing him on a Kawasaki and Yamaha in Florida may not be wrong. I heard over the weekend at the race that Ferry may have bought one of each to try out.

That track at Edwards is brutal. I was stationed there for 4 years. Lots of teams tested there at the time in the early 90s.
