So, not the first bike but, the first non-pos bike to have fuel injection?

I'm asking you.
You tell me....

It's been pretty broadly and publicly discussed that Suzuki copied much of the YZ250 and CR450. Ricky Carmichael (maybe you've heard of him?) talked about it most recently on Pulp Show #500, feel free to give it a listen.

Point me to similar discussions about Yamaha and Honda if you'd like....I'm all ears.

Dude, just admit it. You were wrong, nobody counts anything outside of the 5 manufacturers. Even if you were to add TM you were wrong. No shame in it

Face. Palm.

Let me guess, you think some Aussie that none of us have ever heard of deserves it more than him?

I think AC is a great ambassador but he’s Mr. Glass. Unpopular opinion but it’s pretty true. He’ll be 26 next year, he’s got to start putting full seasons together. Too bad HEP didn’t get the Triumph deal.

Good question, couldn't a team just add an electric start or is it not that simple?

Honda subtracted the e-start for Kenny.

My 2001 Cannondale is fuel injected, electric start, intake on the frontside and hydraulic clutch. Now, don't go saying bad things about my Cannon, she sits real purdy on the stand and maintains order in the shed!

Would that violate the production rule, since production RMs don't have e-start?

No, production rule is for frames, model year, and cc mostly

Even more crazy, it's the same engine in 2022 just with mikini not keihin efi.

My 2009 rmz450 ran flat, loved the 2015.
I loved my ‘14 too, such a good bike.

Isn't this the bike that Max Anstie's wife said was holding him back but now he is getting no better results on a different bike?

last time he was a title contender was 2020 outdoors. and to say his 250 national title is a reason.. just about the whole top 16 riders have won a 250 title.
every one says speed.. But he has only been able to complete 2 season since going pro.

With the amount of 250 riders moving up soon, AC9 needs a change of scenery and program.
hes been on a factory bike and same team since he went to a 65cc..

Aren't you kind to count KTM in the group that counts! The guy said Suzuki was first but obviously, by his own admission, they weren't. Refusing to acknowledge the historical facts, for whatever reason, doesn't make them untrue. Cannondale was the first production four stroke motocross bike with, an aluminum frame, electric start, separate oil for the gearbox / clutch and, crank / head, reversed cylinder head AND,,,, fuel injection. Some of those features have been or, currently are on, believe or not, Yamaha's and Honda's. Was the Cannondale a hunk of junk? Absolutely. I rode one and know. But,,,, it was an innovative hunk of junk.

Bogle got a holeshot and led some laps on it. It's still a good bike.

Malcolm has 1 title like AC and finished the last 2 (3 including 22) 450 seasons in the top 10 unlike AC...
