RIP Scottie. So sorry you got dealt the cards you did. I never met you in person but wish I had. Go in peace knowing you fought like a warrior and touched and inspired a lot of people to be better humans. If that's not a successful life I don't know what is. Until we meet on the other side moto friend.

I feel so saddened by this news,

I have seen and heard from Scottie many times over the years, from as young as 15 playing Mcm together to now 37 still on the forums. He was dealt a tough set of cards and made the absolute most of it.

Godspeed and ride in peace old friend. I will never forget you Scott Stewart #28. Thank you for your lifetime of friendship. I will keep you close to my heart and rest assured your old childhood friends will do the same. Although my eyes are filled with tears and my heart aches here this morning there is also a warm feeling inside knowing you are finally free of the pain and suffering you’ve endured for so long. If the heaven thing is true then I know your buckling those boots and strapping on your helmet right now and may god have mercy on those loamy berms you’re now roosting. Your soul will live on in all of those you’ve touched during your time here and from what I can tell from this vital community that’s just a whole bunch of good folk. Peace ☮️ out 28.

Yeah this is fucken heavy! Scottie and I have talked about it a time or two in the past, it's not exactly a bright future for us once we get too many years in a chair and I feel like I can say that in his final moments he would've felt an enormous amount of relief.. Wish I got to say goodbye but I understand..

Very sad, but there are things worse than death. I also never knew him, but I’m praying for his family and all of his friends here.

This was a difficult read. Just living can be a real bitch sometimes. I hope he found peace and comfort, a little peace and a little comfort goes a long way. If you cannot get one or the other or neither than it can be a brutal existence. I feel for his family, just the same as I feel for the families of close friends that have committed or someone you barely knew. It is sad period. But in the end it is his choice and if you are his friend then you have to be OK with it even though it's maddening to think about. Celebrate the life he had and cherish the time you spent together because you just never know when it's the last. Godspeed to life's last great adventure.

At least he will be pain free. I think it takes a very brave person to commit, from a personal point of view I get it as my brother lost his battle with cancer and he said that he wished he could have ended his suffering himself.
