FIM E-Xplorer World Cup will start in the Summer racing inside cities and in off road terrain. It kiiinda looks like a mix between supermoto and enduro with only electric motos. Heat races, teams with 2 riders (1 male, 1 female) and 3 OEMs already signed up: emx powertrain, electric motion and mugen (honda???). I saw people saying the Volkswagen group could be working on this series too (I gueas they own ducati?).
I dont know. Sounds different. Its not Motocross, Road Racing, Speedway, Trial... its a weird mix. Im interested.
The creator of Formula-E/Extreme-E is also giving them support. Plus the FIM.
Theres ALSO an "e-scooter" championship to be released this year: https://official.esc.live/
Not sure about this one but Im always interested to see where "mobility" could be heading to...

So...I'll watch, I'll give it a try, but I am concerned about the quietness of it. I don't want it dead silent but I also don't want Lurch yelling at me the entire time.

That's the only part I can't wrap my little brain around, the silence.
I really hope E-moto is better
Spec series means no development, nothing to dive into as an enthusiast.
The tracks are boring street tracks, a bit like all pro MX races would be on Vet tracks.
The cars lack performance in all areas.
The grid is not good enough to attract a bigger audience.
