The plastics look significantly more ridiculous than the previous times they rolled that bike out...
I'd be interested to know what weight is like, as their 450 is still very slightly chunky and they are using a full frame instead of using the motor assembly as a stressed member like Stark chose to.
Seems far behind the Stark. They just shoved an electric motor inside an ICE bike. Stark clearly built theirs from the ground up, making it lighter by not including radiators and having the engine as part of the frame.

Stark hasn’t built shit yet, and no one knows anything other than what the brochure says
First time I saw it years back and it looked like Roczen's race bike but electric I thought "Alta's days are numbered if this comes out". Things have changed...
Hopefully they go with this version. Much better.

I think Honda is fine with someone else coming to market first, just like the 450. Let somebody else find out if it's just new Coke or will the market embrace it. Don't imagine it would take them long to get one to market. They sure as hell won't need a deposit.

I mean they’re gonna end up needing some kind of water cooling, electric motors get hot too
It's all good but for the love of mankind can you electric bike guys at least put some baseball cards in your spokes so can hear you coming up to lap me

The CRF450 is one of the slimmest 450's plus is the lightest Japanese 450, so I would hardly call it chunky at all
I liked their e-CRF concept much better than the "Dinosaur" one they are going with. Clearly the same bike underneath, but still...

To be fair the OP's post is for the Mugen version, not the Honda factory/production version ...Mugen's 'look' doesn't necessarily mean that is what Honda will go for when they eventually roll it out
What a peculiar attempt at making a bike look "racy." It looks more like a bike built for a Marvel Comics superhero movie. Mugen ain't what it once was, that's for damn sure.
Strike one!
Next batter: Yamaha or KTM, I'd guess. Meanwhile, Stark sits contentedly in the dugout on top of a huge stack of orders after having hit an out of-the-park home run. Apparently, it's not as easy to conceptualize an E-bike motocrosser as they made it look.

So you're thinking a brand new company can develop a moto chassis better than Honda? I agree the Stark is interesting, but discounting Honda's standards and commitment to quality over the last 40+ years is likely a bad call.

This right here, except for the tricolor electric motor or battery or whatever that is….

I love Hondas. I have a Ridgeline and CRF. This isn’t from Honda directly. A Honda electric bike should have a chassis for the electronic motor, not just shoving a battery in the previous generation’s chassis.

*the electric bike at home
Didn't Josh Hill say it was better than the Alta?
