and Macadoo hasn't made any mistakes either?

Jett should move to the 450 next year.

If he does not get hurt, he will be the next 450 superstar. Might as well get that train rolling asap.

His turn 1 crash in the heat was exceptional. Did Munoz have any plan there? Apart from not shutting off, figure it out from there.

His train is rolling just fine. He’s only 18, let’s let him develop mentally and physically before we kill the kid.

Macadoo never had a chance. Jett did a good job of faking a battle but in reality he was playing with him. Jett and his people are hyper-aware of his image and don't want fans watching a run-away winner every week.
You obviously didn't watch the press conference.

If next years sx season is anything like this season. I feel like it would halt his progression and development. He needs to be out there battling and pushing his limit to progess.
If he wins this years sx. Next year is his last possible 250 season.
If he was to race 250 sx next season. I would like to see him race every other round pressure free in the 450 class. Or could he start 450 west. Do the 1st 4-5 rounds. Then reasses and say 450 is going good im staying. Or below average results. Then hit up 250s for 1 more season

Couldn’t agree more. That would be the smart move.

I think the kid is maturing very quickly and another year in the 250s would be counterproductive and actually riskier than getting experience on the 450. The 250 guys are the crazy riders. Just my opinion.

He will be 20 in August 2023. Plenty old enough to ride a 450. He rode like a veteran last race.

Why do you think riding the 450 class is so dangerous for a mature 19-year-old three-time 250 champion (SX and two National MX titles)?

Crazy part is.. as Jett moves up.. a lot of these vet riders will be at the back end of their career. who will still be in the 450 class when he does decide to move up?

Odds are good Honda has an open 450 slot for 2023.

If I were in Jett's shoes I would love to have a deal to ride the 450s in 2023 with no pressure at all. Just learn the ropes.

If he rides the 250s again there will be a huge amount of pressure to repeat.

The more races that go by, the more I’m thinking it’s time for Jett to take Kenny’s spot at HRC. Hell he was on a 250 and had the 2nd fastest lap time of both 250 or 450 in one of the last few races
Comparing laptimes between the classes is meaningless. Ferrandis had better laptimes in sx than the 450 guys when he was on a 250. How's that translating...

It translates because Dylan is fast enough for the class and won a 450 outdoor title…

He will be great if he keeps doing what he’s doing. He has a weird super-smooth style reminiscent of Jeremy McGrath and the ability to go full retard like RC, Bubba, and Eli.
