A good soldier have a deep patriotic feeling for his country and attachement to it roots. As almost all African countries are a product of colonial ressource sharing from European countries the countries that become independent after 1960 are always a mismatch of different ethnic groups with very little sense of unity. Therefore to fight and die for their country is not really a thing they could understand, let alone fight for another country. Besides Russians never had any colonies in Africa so there is zero connection with them, the only one who seem to have a connection are the corrupt leaders that plunder the continent. And now I stop an we go back to Ukraine.
If so, you might need a new thread for the intellectually argumentative discussion that this is gonna require.

People seem to forget that communism as a whole always has lead to and always will lead to a higher body count in terms of innocent collateral and war crimes.
Are Luhansk and Donetsk independent?
Both Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic have simultaneously declared independence and were previously united under the Novorossiya confederation from 2014 to 2015. What happened next? If you don't know the answer well, maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions or talk about alleged genocide by the other side.
Things are very complicated and you are being told a story based on the guys with the better public relations firm.
In any event, I doubt this war truly benefits average joe Ukrainian, or average Joe Russian. It certainly doesn't benefit average Joe American. Therefore I am out.

Yevhen Matveyev was seized in the southern town of Dniprorudne, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted, accusing Russia of "terror" tactics.
Earlier, Russia installed a new mayor in Melitopol, after allegedly abducting the city's previous incumbent.
Ukraine's president also accused Russia of trying to create "pseudo-republics" to break his country apart.
In her first public appearance, Melitopol's newly installed mayor Galina Danilchenko urged residents not to take part in "extremist actions" and declared her main task was construction of "basic mechanisms under the new reality".
Brent Renaud, an acclaimed filmmaker who travelled to some of the darkest and most dangerous corners of the world for documentaries that transported audiences to little-known places of suffering, died Sunday after Russian forces opened fire on his vehicle in Ukraine.
The 50-year-old Little Rock, Ark., native was gathering material for a report about refugees when his vehicle was hit at a checkpoint in Irpin, just outside the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. Ukraine's Interior Ministry said the area has sustained intense shelling by Russian forces in recent days.
Renaud was one of the most respected independent producers of his era, said Christof Putzel, a filmmaker and close friend who had received a text from Renaud just three days before his death. Renaud and Putzel won a 2013 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University journalism award for Arming the Mexican Cartels, a documentary on how guns trafficked from the United States fuelled rampant drug gang violence.
Me personally don't believe it anymore...
A Russian Orthodox church in Amsterdam has announced it is to split with the Moscow patriarchate, in the first known instance of a western-based church cutting ties over the invasion of Ukraine.
“The clergy unanimously announced that it is no longer possible for them to function within the Moscow patriarchate and provide a spiritually safe environment for our faithful,” the clergy said in a statement posted on its website. “This decision is extremely painful and difficult for all concerned.”
The head of the Russian Orthodox church, Patriarch Kirill, a trusted ally of Vladimir Putin, has declined to condemn the Kremlin’s decision to invade its neighbour, referring to Russia’s opponents in Ukraine as “evil forces”.
