Made the pork chops with cream of mushroom based sauce again. The difference in quality between the canned CoM and scratch is huge and it’s so easy to make. Highly recommend it

My mom was, overall, a pretty shit cook, but pork chops in cream of mushroom was one of the few things she made really well. Makes me think of her every time I make it/see it posted here.

Me too, this is very much home cooking/comfort food for me. Throw this on top of a big plate of white rice and it’s like being 9 years old all over again

I ordered a couple months back a Steelmade Cookware griddle top for my gas stove. Made in USA in Kansas.
Didn't you wish you could bring that professional flat top inside? Also be able to use pans on it if necessary, like a pro kitchen?

This is seasoning cycle #1
Done right, should be black like a cast iron pan and non-stick like the finest pans
www.steelmadeusa.com not an ad, just a customer

and I love cooking. I haven't been in the groove lately, but it's coming back

Family is over in Miami all day so I made a left over chicken sandwich concoction on some Mountain Home garlic bread for an early snack and then fired up the grill and just threw some chicken on and then some pork i had to cook to make some room.

One thing I’ll be giving a shot making myself for the first time soon is paella. My uncles mom was Argentine. She’d make it two three times a year. Man that stuff was incredible.

So this is ol Charlie Murphy’s food. Ground turkey, carrots, spinach, squash, peas, apples, sweet potatoes, coconut oil and chicken liver.

I know its boring and repetitive but made my concoction with some squash and zucchini and always throw the steaks in there when they are ready to bring in and it also adds a bit of flavor.

I want to come back to the 512 just to eat your food!

LOL

If that was ground lamb (or beef), looks like the start of a shepherds pie, just need a deep dish and some mashed taters

Whipped up a Pork shoulder steak for lunch. I like my beef moo’ing, but my pork burnt. Judge is excited, he knows he’ll get the fat and bone.
