Putin’s toughness seems pretty real to the average Ukrainian right now.

With China bankrolling Putin and the U.S. bankrolling China, we’ll see how this goes.
I think you missed my point, which was he didn´t scare anyone he tried to warn. Basically Biden told Putin, you are broke, and it has already started today with the rubel hitting record lows, and we have barely started. Anyone who thinks to ally with you and your soon-to-be broke oligarks will suffer the same fate. And NATO will now surround you with more forces.

He was much tougher and resolute than I had expected

Nothing but a globalist designed takeover of Russia because he won't submit to the new world order and their sick homo/ anti christ agenda.
Its all about destroying the global economy at every turn and the fake covid scamdemic was just the beginning of the process now it will be global war to finish it all off.
Biden is a Chinese whore and a puppet for Obama and his Chinese bosses.

Next up for the usa will be internet outages and power outages that they will coincidentally blame on Russia.

False flag globalist bullshit

I've seen reports of Russia steam rolling the Ukrainians (including Azov battalion being wiped out) and then reports that Ukrainians are resisting much harder than expected.
The front line with separatist republics hasn`t moved. Russians are bombing the shit out all along frontline. For a brief time russians took Schastje town, but ukrainians kicked them out again.
However attacks from Crimea and Belarus are somewhat succesful. Russians slowly advancing. Haven`t heard anything about Azov batalion. Russia hasn`t been able to take Mariopol where Azov is based. They did bomb a shit out of their base though. Mariopol is under constant bombing. It`s a one of russian main goals.

I thought the final reactor was shut down in 2000.

The US should stay out. European countries can fight their own battles. Not our problem.

Uhhh... Not to be a debbie Downer but according to Wiki in 2000 they shut down the last reactor and in 2015 they started decomisionaing the 3 remaining reactors sooo... unless you brought a few key parts for nuclear reactor to function (and some uranium) with you the reactors could not be in use in 2018.

To ocuppy Chernobyl is only power move to brag about but unless they blow it in smitherines with shittonnes of explosives they are unlikely to cause big enviromental damage. Just don't forget that if USSR wasn't cheapskate and installed containment building the Chernobyl would not be much worse than Three mile Island incident.

If I remember correctly, Chernobyl is still an important source of energy to Ukraine. And the bill to rebuild the damages dome and replace it with the "100 year dome" cost so much EU had to fit the bill. There was no money to shut down the other reactors

You´re not being a Debbie Downer by correcting my mistakes.

I looked it up and have absolutely mixed the reactors with the still current relay of power for most of the Northern Ukrainian region from a different plant. So there is still activity, but it is from decommissioning and as a hub for the Ukraininan power grid. Which means by taking it, Russia can control a vast share of the Ukranian power grid.

I stand corrected.

That second video is from Gostomel airport , 20 miles west from Kiev. Russian speznaz flew in with more than 20 helos. 3 of them were downed.
Russians took airport during day. Now there is a fight going on. Ukrainians took main building. Ukrainian artilery and tanks firing. Ukrainians plan to retake airport soon.

I saw something about an attack using 18 plane loads of paratroopers (~140 troops per plane) near Kiev, but wasn’t sure if it was the same airport as the Spetznatz assault.

The UK pledged to support Ukraine to their max ability. If Putin invades a NATO member, they’ll respond militarily.

I’ve been curious if the Russians are sending forces down the west side of Ukraine to isolate it from military supply from the west.

I've seen some really bad videos.

Tanks blown to pieces with a dead soldier on the ground. Jet blowing up shit in a neighborhood, lady filming had a child that screamed in fear. Russian helicopters shot down and burning.

It's getting really bad.

I don`t think so. I heard a report of planes taking of from Pskov. That`s where russian main airborne military base is. Bad , tough guys. Haven`t seen anything on where they went.

Looks like russian "shock and awe" attack hasn`t gone as planned. Ukrainians are fighting back. Seems like there is a little down time before second attack. Russians need ammo and gas. Tomorrow will be bad.

When you elect a football coach to the Senate, you get a football coach in the senate...

Tuberville discussed the escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. He claims that a large part of Vladimir Putin’s desire for further annexation of Ukrainian land is due to the amount of farmland in Ukraine.

“He can’t feed his people,” Tuberville said. “It’s a communist country, so he can’t feed his people, so they need more farmland.”

Half his troops haven't invaded, its going to be hard to feed the machine, that captured tank crew had mismatched uniforms, those two soldiers you posted only had 3 mags each, not a good sign for Russia.

Yeah, russians were counting on ukrainians just giving up. Anyway, russian force is overwhelming. It will be bad. I do take in account that ukraine is using propoganda as well. They need their morale high. They try to not report failures. Take everything I post with a dose of skepticizm. I do try to confirm things from 3-4 different sources.
