I’ll be honest, that has always confused me.
Ain't no sense anymore.
There is no excuse for such violence and intimidation. All workers deserve to be protected from harassment and harm. This destructive attack should be condemned by all in British Columbia."
Coastal GasLink also issued a statement Thursday, describing the attack in greater detail than RCMP did.
The company alleged that the attackers had surrounded workers, at one point attempting to set a vehicle on fire while workers were inside.
"The attackers also wielded axes, swinging them at vehicles and through a truck's window," Coastal GasLink said. "Flare guns were also fired at workers. Workers fled the site for their own safety and remain shaken by this violent incident. Fortunately, there were no physical injuries to Coastal GasLink workers."
The company encouraged anyone with information about the attack to contact RCMP.

If they're black and blocking up traffic, destroying property while protesting for equal rights and not being killed by cops, that's bad.
If you are white and protesting, blocking up traffic, destroying property, that's PATRIOTISM.
Just asking for a friend.
Pit Row
Not every BLM protest or protestor destroyed property.
So, I do have to wonder what the difference is.
I believe it's an honest and fair question.
Both are protesting for the same thing, right? Freedom? Not being racially profiled, killed for being black or discriminated against and seeking equality is seeking freedom.
So, with all due respect, I am asking nicely and not being condescending (is that condescending?), I'd like to understand what y'all think the difference is?
Forgot smily thing
Sorry about that
Surely you can recognize that difference, can't you?
Truckers in Ottawa are cooking food, singing their National Anthem, and one protester has gone so far as to remind everyone to remain peaceful via bullhorn. He's thanking the police for their service, while maintaining that they are on the same side, even while arrests are being conducted.
By the way, there were and are black, brown, and white people in both protests.
