Handguards- Show me yours!

Edited Date/Time 2/19/2022 8:13am
I will need some for later in the year, but I cant find any I like the look of.
They need to be 'Moto' style ones, NOT the ones that wrap around and plug in to the end of the bar.

Show me what your'e running_ I need some inspiration.

(I cant have the OEM style 'Austrian' ones which bolt through the levers)

We really liked these they bend and snap back if you tip over.

I have been using some form of these Acerbis guards for a long time. Highly recommended as I have never broken a mount...even with numerous falls. I have used Cycra guards with varying degrees of success as well, but they have gotten a bit more pricey. Handguards for life here, the west coast boys do not understand how bad rocks feel.

I only use G2. Hands down the best handguards on the market. They don't sponsor me or the Iowan Hard Enduro, but I still use them. I've used Cyrcra and others in the past and I will break them in a few rides. The Cyras lasted one race and were completely twisted after one simple tip over. As you can see from the KTM's guards... they've been through some stuff! The Kawi's are still pretty new so they look nice.

Nice idea, but man they are ugly.

I have never had any luck with aluminum mounts, they always seem to bend, tweak, or snap. The plastic mounts on the Acerbis are "soft" and always come back to shape.

Acerbis X-Future. Amazing look, full protection, with great air flow. I have always run handguards. Better to be racing, than out with an injury.

This is just your friendly bro reminder to run handguards as much as you can. This summer I went for an enduro trail ride here in so cal and clipped a Boulder with my left hand going maybe 10mph. Lever done ripped my pinky tip off in 1st gear. Only bike I own that didn’t have any handguards on it, thought it would be more fun to take the new 350 out, and I was wrong haha

Thanks for the responses guys, at the moment I think there’s Acerbis ones or the cycra, (one post up) FTW!

After breaking the mounts three times on Acerbis X-Force handguards, I got a set of Twenty Vapor (actually made by Polisport) from 24 MX. Basic design, very cheap (less than 10€) and surprisingly strong -I've had the same set since 2015. TBH, when I unboxed them, I thought they'd last a week...
Works for me!

How do yall feel about handguards in motocross? I thought it looked dumb until I needed them one day. Now I am thinking of getting some.

I love these Cycra guards, they have held up well for me and I especially like the option to mount the guards high or low to accommodate lever position.

Haha exactly, I was laughing at the general lack of reading comprehension in this thread.
