I had to snicker to that, good one Bobby.

Ellie's analysis is correct and I don't have any doubt that she knows what she is talking about. As others have said, she's probably seen as many elite-level passes through the whoops as anyone in the sport.

A coach doesn't have to have been an elite athlete in order to command authority. Ms. Carmichael, Ms.Millsaps, Ellie, Lou Holtz, Joe Gibbs... you get the picture. I don't have any problem with Ellie, or any woman, mentoring riders in an authoritative way.

But telling these guys to "grow some balls" isn't going to get her anywhere. These guys are already riding at the limit of their abilities. They need to be coached, not shamed. I hope Ellie stays involved, but she could tone down the "be a man" bullshit and get better results. To pull that off, you actually do have to have been in their shoes, like David Vuillemin, for example.

I'm not a snowflake, not a Supercross champion, I'm just an experienced manager who knows a thing or two about getting the most out of my team.

The Reed’s use social media to expand their brand. Ellie’s post isn’t earth-shattering, and would garner barely a passing glance if released by Chad. However, they are both very aware of how the post’s origin will generate additional eyes, and eyes = $. It’s well-played and effective, judging by this feed alone.

Just because you are married to a Pilot doesn't mean you can fly a plane

It’s funny when people pretend to be smart

Grow some balls is just Aussie slang for commit and have confidence going in them. Ie Reed,Craig, Brayton, Millsaps, Windham. Sometimes they do go down but everybody does once in a while.

Im sure Mathilde Musquin could hold a pretty decent 1 or 2 day clinic for the avg Nov rider just from the hours at the track shes had with Marvin.

Im sure if Ricky was 1 foot taller, Jeannie would of made RC the goat at whoops too.

that being said the rant was a little too long but im a fan of the Reed clan. Their youtube videos are good vibes
Seems like 6'4 is a bit on the tall side for moto

Dv skimmed whoops with no helmet and tennis shoes years after he retired.

There’s something missing , setup, the right gear , something. Gary semics has a great YouTube video of windham smoking the whoops and pastrana struggling hard. Sometimes it’s the little things.

We all know that guy who can just nail them, even at the am level.

Craig is good , and his bike is too but he’s not some game changer. He’s good. The other guys , good as they are everywhere else , suck.
I'd go as far to say Craig is one of the best in the whoops. And seems to keep it on two wheels while going through them at insane speeds.
