Bike as it sits now. Feel like i need to coat the clutch cover or maybe just hand brush it, something looks off to my eyes in that area. Got some wiring management done tonight and more plating. Few more little things till this bike really comes together.

Wheels took a bath in some lye, then vapor honed. Took forever

Did some cerakoting, the finish on the clutch cover was too grainy for my liking after a sandblast and vapor blast. Did my carb while i was at it, because how cool is a coated lectron. Im also not a fan of lectrons normally but it came with the bike so why not .

Use a lower pipe mount from a YZ250 and you'll get noticeably less vibration . These Honda mounts suck at that...Nice build!

Spokes and nipples cleaned up, they dont make the correct spokes i need so i had to reuse these. Just a fine grit sanding drum and a drill to spin the spoke. Will have at least one wheel built by tomorrow.

Got half of the air box done, took me 4 hours. I started half assing it after 1000 grit, because i knew if i was to get the sanding marks from the previous grit totally out i would have been into it 8 hours just for one side. Not worth it. Came out better than it was, thats all that matter.

Really love this shot. So much work in a mostly boring area. Zinc plated clevis, hardware, return spring, and brake tip.

Lovin the fork color and the contrast with the red showa decal and the red plastics. Looks killer. Tires come wednesday, will have wheels wrapped up by friday. Then waiting on a radiator and shell be done, i think?
