Small world. We always used to see him at the track. In the interview he said he wasn't the biggest KTM fan until today, but that's because he's been Blu Cru forever. I remember him riding a YZ 250 2t.

I watched a kid at the summer SX races at Jeeps get DQ'd for skyshotting a huge gap only the pros were hitting. To be honest...the kid's dad was drunk and was pushing him to do it. They got ejected off the property but regardless...that kid was amazing. Gifford was calling the race...he knows.

Looks much more fit then when he turned pro and Mickey D’s was his unofficial sponsor.

The kid's name was Caden Hadley from Bountiful, Utah.

Ricky never made a secret about feeling really deprived from junk food all the years he was racing. When he retired...he made up for all that lost time. Looks like he caught up to the rest of us but was smart enough to say, "This shit sucks". He knocked the bad food off and found a balance. He's just a bad mofo.

Yup...and he realized after turning pro that it would take more then raw talent to be the goat and he then made legit fitness a requirement to be competitive. Gone was the era of Fro partying his way through the season.

He's hyper as fuck but he leads the guest and let's them answer...he may add enthusiasm but they always get to answer his question. He's not asking a rocket scientist to explain relativity...hes talking to regular people that need help in an unfamiliar situation. He seems to make them comfortable and at ease...that's earning a paycheck. He's ok.

RC had the talent to dominate since like the age of 8 years old. He was just different speed then everyone else.

Fitness didn’t take him to the next level. He already was next level.

Yea....Raw talent got him to the pros and he was always dominant outdoors. Indoors....he was always super fast but inconsistent in Supercross. When Aldon got him in to shape was when he took over Supercross and became the Goat. Ricky has said this himself.
