The rider should be able to dump the clutch at launch and have the speed limiter release the lever at a predetermined rate. Once the start is over, the rider moves that lever on top and the speed limiting cylinder slides backwards so it doesn’t interfere with the clutch lever during the race.
The angle of the photo makes it look like the clutch line goes into the back of the speed limiter, but that’s not the case; it’s plumbed into the master cylinder in the usual way.

But what’s going on with the internals inside the AL housing? Any idea how the lever arm works and how the cable is routed?
