Came across this on my feed today. Who is this and what does she have to do with supercross? I keep seeing media members applauding Feld on the way their branding the sport, but I completely disagree. It’s no new news, but Feld has sold us out. This is completely pointless content.

Idk who this young woman is but this is all feld sees/cares about.. 1.3m people potentially just saw this and said wtf is a supercross

In the 2 seconds of “research” I did I see she has 1.3 million followers… I’m assuming the majority of them don’t follow supercross. Maybe this is an attempt to grow the sport which so many of the vitards want or don’t want, I can’t keep up

No clue who she is, but she has a reach of over 1.3 Million on Instagram, so she does some influencer posts to her pages and Supercross gets exposure.

Most of the time these puff pieces are with local news casters. It’s nothing new. Just bringing more eyeballs towards the events to sell more tickets.

May be Feld should take the same approach to social media marketing as the PGA. Whichever tour player gets the most social media traffic and attention gets a bonus at the end of the year. It may persuade more riders to engage and put out content, the deegans do a good job with that.

I see nothing wrong with this... In fact I'm totally on board with it. Doesn't hurt anything at all. How is this selling out? Supercross is a SHOW. They have to promote it to keep the tiny relevance it currently has.

Also, "Our sport"? Whose? Yours and your buddies'? Give me a break. You, me, VitalMX... we aren't the gatekeepers, especially for Supercross. Supercross has almost nothing to do with your local practice/race day at the track, other than we can hope some young kids get inspired and beg their parents for a dirtbike.

She rode a dirt bike, had a good time, and 1.3 million followers got to see that dirt bikes can be fun. How does this affect you at all, spud child? It’s not like they gifted her a pro license and entered her in the main.

They had Makeup 2 Mud for a number of years. Jordan Jarvis raced SX last year and I think she's racing East coast this year. Maybe they'll promote that when the time comes?

They broadcast the SX Futures race on Race Day Live and I believe they'll be part of the night show at the last round.
