First off let me say I know I am opening a can of worms to the whiners and complainers, so what.
Supercross and Motocross needs more Stankdog type individuals in the sport and on the main stage. The type that want to do something against the norm, bring a knife to a gun fight type.
Look at the reaction he received from the fans Saturday night in Oakland when he made the main out of his heat, sure there was a first lap pile up and the West Coast maybe thinned due to injuries but he did it.
Look at the reaction he receives at the Outdoors, I hate this is his last year to race professionally so who is the next to take fill his spot?
The sport is what we all do for fun and this just adds to the excitement and wagers.

If we “grow” I see that going away. Let’s be cool with our identity!
Roczen and Cianciarulo are both well spoken and give great/truthful interviews.
Plessinger has a huge and awesome personality and makes everyone laugh/smile.
Barcia and Anderson ride with their heart on their sleeve and leave nothing on the track, yet seem like great guys enjoying life off the track.
Tomac, while a beast is a quite guy and that's also great, he is doing it his way.
Then add in all the privateers and the crazy awesome personalities and stories they have, from ARay, Enticknap, Stank and more.
My point with all this is we have a big variety in people, personalities, both on and off the track. Its that variety that makes it all great and entertaining.
Better check the win list.
How is that a bad thing?
When they bring the electrics, I'm out.
Flame on....
Imagine being that cooked in the head that the first thing you could possibly think of doing when you finally qualify for a main event is to go on a social media foul mouthed rant over something that didn’t happen.
Sit back and take it all in, enjoy the moment with your friends and fans.
We don’t need more drama queens who go straight to social media and make a bitch storm over misheard rumours. Hero to zero in my opinion.
It would have been great to hear him on Pulp if he hadn’t acted like a complete moron. I’d be so gutted if I supported his program.
I guess he can go bro down with gypsy and cooksey for his ego stroke.
I did the homework. His last title he won 3 races. That’s the Dungey I’m talking about.
Pit Row
I for one miss the good old days and guys like Stank are a throwback to funner, simpler times. Riders with personality who had genuine smiles who were actually able to have fun, box vans parked on the grass, less separation between the haves and the have nots.
And now those same dudes that got a chub from a guy having a cigarette hole in his helmet are going "but it's the devil's lettuce, what a loser."
I always liked Stank. I’m a die hard 2 stroke guy and his videos were always cool. His rant was just really dumb.
It's that I don't like his personality.
I love that a guy called Stank Dog is the talk of the town.
We just don’t see them at local races and here on Vital..
You don’t talk about JT$’s sister that way tho, that’s where I draw the line.
I agree! Travis Pastrana is the same. (Think MXoN, RM250)
Ive said it before, that winning is NOT the only thing that sells bikes/product.
If, lets say Yamaha put a big name on a YZ250 and sent him to race, he aint gonna win, we know it, he knows it, but its a spectacle which will excite some people, it make a group of people go home wanting to buy a YZ250.
An example I used before: Imagine if a Factory paid a big star BIG money and handpicked races across the globe to promote their product in.
One week he could be at Anaheim, the next week he's on an MXGP grid, the next week he's in Canada riding a 125... and so on.
Hes not gonna win any of the championships and likely not any of the races, but its a spectacle which will make people interested to follow & eyes on the bike/kit will result in sales. Its not all about the win. And the rider is earning good money without the pressures of chasing a championship.
This board would blow up if Yamaha announced Villopoto entering a one-off EMX125 race! The interest that would attract would be HUGE!
Stank is doing the Austrian 125 a thousand Favours-itd be so cool to see the KTM group acknowledge that.
