Well damn... ...but understandable. He had an interesting career. ...and of course, one of the best race finishes of all time (taking out Savatgy) So jazzed to see him title in 2020.

Heart is the word that comes to mind when picturing Zach.

Thanks for the memories Zacho.... looking forward to seeing where life takes you next.

That’s a shame, was pulling for Zako. Hope we get to hear more from him on podcasts and things. Congratulations on an amazing career.

Watched Zach's entire career. It's hard not to be a fan.

99% of highly touted amateurs would pack it in before slugging it out for scraps in Europe. He never blamed anyone for the hands he was dealt, and used every stop as an opportunity to learn and get better.

His long, slow march to the top was something to behold.

Some people will talk shit on Zach's 450 title due to the compromised season - they are idiots. Go watch, there was no one better, or more clutch.

Hard to see such a fast, talented guy call it a day. But I am happy he's reached a point in his career where he can walk away with no regrets. Congratulations, Zach!

I wish.

Something tells me if his back can't take 20 minutes of SX that it probably won't hold up for 8+ hour days in the saddle.

I'd love to be proved wrong though.

Hate to see him stop.

Zack Osborns never give up fighting to get to the top has been like no other rider. He did not give up because he was not immediately given a factory ride. He went to Europe as a privateer and did not come back until he was offered a well deserved ride.

Enjoy retirement Zack!

Happy next stage in life Zach. At his young age, I wouldn’t call it a retirement. The guy quietly won championships without all the hype and noise that can follow a top level rider. His career was well rounded with GNCC starts, the years in MXGP and then back to the states to take home some trophy’s. Well done.

Damn. Bitter sweet for sure. I hate hearing when a rider is forced to quit over an injury. But he does sound content with it. He had an incredible career , and should be extremely proud. I'm sure he'll find that retirement will be good to him. Thanks for everything Zach , you were really fun to watch and cheer for.
