The only good thing to come out of this season is that it will be a very competitive MXON for a change.

We stand a chance to win no matter who we send. Any 3 top ten National riders can average top 7 finishes and that will be all it takes to win the team event.

If Stewart isn't on the top of the list, it will only be because of political bullshit.

Why they hell would you send Short?

IT, Grant and Dungey, easily your fastest ream right now... Unless James wants to go... Hell i'd send RC on a 2 smoke before Short...

When did MXdN become a 450-only event? I don't see a 250 rider there.

If he goes, it'll be because he's the fastest motocross rider on Earth. The only person with a chance of staying close to him is RC, and he should be on the team, too, along with Dungey. It's an easy team to pick if you're interested in sending the team with the best chance of winning. It's only complicated if you have a personal beef with one of those guys.

If we send RC, Stewart and Dungey, it'll look like it did at Budds Creek. If we send a B team, you're right. That's not to say that Short and IT aren't great riders, but there are great riders and then there are GREAT riders, and I can't think of anyone who ever made the jump from one group to the other with sheer desire.

Last year he was the fastest motocross rider on earth. This year he's still probably the fastest motocross rider on earth but, he chose to ride the couch. Win or lose, our top guys at the end of the series should be given the opportunity to go because they EARNED it. I know that's a hard thing to comprehend these days. I might be the most die hard RC fan on this board but the only way he or James should go is if none of the other RACERS will.

It's not about earning it in the current year. It's about sending our best riders. RC/JBS/RD are the best of the best, and if we send anyone else, we're sending the wrong guys.

I don't get it. I thought the MXdN was about sending the best riders. No? Sending the best is very easy for me to comprehend. Tell the other riders to get better.

Not to be a jerk, but which team would be better than 33, 9, 10?

Italy?

Spain?

Belgium?

France?

England?

Japan?

I could see Australia being troublemakers for that team, but who else?

I would go with Weimer. I honestly can't see Dungey being able to pull it together in a real pressure situation.

Germany? Roczen, Nagl Schiffer
Italy? Philliparts Cairoli, Guaneri - 3rd 1st and 4th in the GPs
France would have been if the Pourcels where riding with Musquin

Now if Bubba goes you should win if he doesn't Italy could take it. France would have walked it with the Pourcels and Musquin on a 250f imo bubba or no bubba

I still can't understand how people want to send riders that are not currently competing.
Read the RX interview with RC from Monday.
He's done guys.
Sure he will show up here and there at events, but, he is retired from this sport.

Even with Stewart, I'm a huge fan. Should he go and take the spot away from someone who is riding hard in the outdoors, and deserves to be picked? It's a chance in a life time for these guys.

In my opinion it's unfair to send someone who isn't currently racing MOTOCROSS to a MOTOCROSS DES NATIONS.

The person who deserves to be picked is the one that will do the best for the team.

Participation in the nats is not necessary to be the best pick, because all the best riders don't do the nats.
