Ha, sorry, I figured the 110/85/19 size would pop up...
I have the Pirelli 110/85/19 on my 22 with a 2:15 rim. Would of worked fine on stock 1:85 rim.
Same height as stocker just wider.

The 110/90/19 dunlop is nearly 1" taller that the stock pirelli
It raised the back too much, I assume it should of been mated it up with a dunlop ft as they seem taller also than the pirelli stock front.
A buddy has this combo. rear dunlop 110 & stock pirelli ft. Back felt tall with out a sag/ fork height adjustment.

I think for the price its a deal. I say traction was better but rode on completely different types of track
so to say it hooks up better than stock is still a bit subjective. Wide note it is still a very light weight tire.

I do like the stock pirelli's better than expected. At this point I don't have enough time on the 110/85/19 to say much more other than no issues so far

Everyone that has ridden a stock 2022 CRF250R I would say...............
Ha, sorry, I figured the 110/85/19 size would pop up...
Supposedly that size was made for a 1.85 wheel.

Yesterday check the suspension setup is very hard (supercross ) I made softer setting on the forks and I put race tech gold valve kit in shock springs did not charge (70 kilos rider without gear )
Now CRF250 is fantastic

I was looking at HGS too, look very clean. Where did you ordered it from? If I'm not mistaken, they only offer a stainless steel option, right?

I might wait to see how the FMF and Yosh perform before buying one. I really want an Akrapovic, but I have the feeling it's going to be crazy expensive here...

I just order it from Bud Racing USA. They are only getting five systems, I was number four. Phone number 1-951-245-2660 ask for John. They are not sure if they are getting anymore in. Yoshimura has over a thousand on preorder, I assume if your at the bottom of that list, it would be some time before you would receive it. I checked Pro Circuit and nothing yet from them. Good luck on what exhaust you decide to go with.

Less than 20 hours and I barely even rev these things because I ride relatively slow. Any thoughts? Intake is pretty done. Exhaust cam might be salvageable. Head is done I think. I had started fouling plugs 3-4 engine hours ago and thought it was the colder weather so switched to a hotter plug but then started getting noises that I thought was too much valve clearance. It did have too much clearance and I think this is why.

Not sure. I haven’t torn into that. There is plenty of oil in the case. I assume oil pump failure would have taken down all of it and not just started on that one end of the cam.

I started fouling plugs a few hours before this so I don’t know if the injector may have been leaking. The left intake can lobe and bearing seems to have the most damage. I don’t know if there was a defect there and then the particles went down the line or if the oil got thinned out by fuel and that is last to get oil.

Does anyone know which order oil is fed into the head?

I switched to these from Dunlop mx3’s and after 2 days, I’m still not to a point of being as confident as I was on my Dunlop’s in ruts. Take that for what it’s worth I guess. I’m not giving up yet, maybe I just need to make some setting changes.

Mx3s feel pretty good especially the front. If the track is more hardpacked the Pirelli won’t feel as good. The Pirelli front does seem to have more lean angle traction than stand up traction. The rear might be the best non sand tire in sand. If you have really soft dirt they work really well. The carcass lasted longer for me than an mx3s.

I can see that. I’ve had sections (majority) where they feel dialed, but I just need to find that lean angle trust. I know it’ll be a good tire for where I ride. I really don’t have any complaints. All it takes is one or two blown corners and I start spiraling lol

The further you lean them the better they work. I call it a fast guy tire because of that.

Fouled plugs = maybe burning oil? What oil and viscosity are you using? 0-5wt is too low and burns easy and does not make better lubrication. Best for fuel economy sticker on windscreen of new car.
Have you drained oil and measured how much is left? Is it low? Does it smell heavy like fuel?
Oil flow circuit should be in manual.
Did you use a sealant on head cover or something like after valve check? Maybe use too much and loose piece clogged up journal feeds? Some people more worried about little oil weep and weep mark than blocking oil galleries and use too much sealant even on rubber gasket.

Great spot under the seat for one that I preferred over the tank mount

The oil is black as coal and smells bad like old used up oil. I am not sure what oil smells like that has fuel in it but given the plug fouling it would not surprise me if the injector is leaking.

I drained enough oil to see it had over a quart. I don’t have a big enough measuring cup to check for more than 1 quart. I used 10w30 Honda synthetic oil. The problems started about two hours after the last oil change. The first two changes the oil looked almost new when I took it out. I used the non synthetic Honda 10w30 oil the first 12 hours or so.

I did not use sealant on the valve cover, and the oil filter doesn’t have chunks of anything in it.

Bad filter install has starved it is my bet.

Switching from non synthetic to synthetic can cause separation problems. Man, this is some shit luck. Sorry to hear it

Hopefully the that blown motor is an isolated issue. I am hoping to pick one up in the spring.

Muffler bearing stuck shut is what caused that

Is this the manual that comes with the bike?!

https://cdn.powersports.honda.com/documentum/MWOM/ml.remawmom.2022_crf2…

If so...WTF? There's basically zero maintenance information in there. I realize that an Owner's manual is not a service manual but my '19 and '20 OM contained all the basic/routine maintenance as well as suspension and engine servicing.
