My point was like at other GP s we saw a lot of pases, blocks, counter attacks, but not this GP. Also point about laptimes, like other times we saw less consistent but way fastest times from all riders,so it means riders are trying to push over limit, but not this time.

P.s. I understand all riders tried be consistent and riding maximally clear
You clearly didn't do enough research. Its because JH was in the lead early. Many times he had to push at the end of de motos so he did. This time he set 1 or 2 really fast laptimes once in the lead and after that controlled the motos. If you look you can see that both Febvre and Gajser had laptimes at the end of the motos close to their fastest laptimes. So they pushed the whole motos( Gajser moto2). Thats why i think febvre crashed, he was really riding over his head...like herlings did in arco

I tell you has impressed me the last 5 rounds, Brian Hsu. Guy has still got it. Hopefully he can get a decent ride for next year.

We also saw the retirement of Strijbos and Simpson today. They had some very great careers. GP wins, top 3 in championships.

Can he still do mx2 next year or is it mxgp due to age?

I’m not sure but he seems to fall out with every team he’s on.

Regarding Brian Hsu.

Lewis Phillips did an interview with him recently after one of these rounds and it seemed like he hasn't any desire to race MXGP full-time. He wants an 250 SX deal or just race the European SX/AX races. And he dropped a small bomb at the same time. Remember the JGR rumors a few years ago? According to him, they offered him a 450 deal which he obviously turned down. That is such a JGR thing to do, why in the world would you put him on a 450?!

But he was very impressive in these races. He rode a stock-ish KTM and we all know how important the bike is in that class. And he just jumped into the series without any major preparation whilst all the other riders are well into it after a long season of getting better and fitter.

Love the moment when Herlings cross the finish live and in the intreview do a Kanye west moment. It was hilarous.
Kanye did even more hilarous with his pause and his face.

Yeah he was really good. I figured it wouldn't be easy for him to get points. He hasn't raced MX forever. He clearly still has the speed but I didn't think he would be able to race 35min motos that consistently. Came away with about 60 points in 5 races on stock suspension

First race he finished 8th place that is way better anyone was waiting from him and his program.

Dont know where Fredriksen will go next year but he looks like young version of Herlings will give everything to pass riders and get through pack after bad starts. If I was team manager that fight is what i want to see.

I think you mean Thursday.

Mid week races put my mental calendar out of whack too.

Every time I’ve seen Brian Hsu race in person I’ve been blown away by how good he is. Such an amazing talent and such a bizarre career

He once told in an interview that the result driven bonuses are quite substantial.
