thats exactly what I was thinking. In the first photo it looks like its going to be a simple high side and then the bike just flips. crazy!

LOL. Amateurs.

OBVIOUSLY, when he was going into the right hand turn he hit a braking bump too fast which put too much forward momentum into his left shoulder which then caused him to panic rev the bike while panic braking both the front and rear brakes. Then, as he was landing on the ground from said braking bump his suspension compressed which caused it to then act like a compressed spring. Then, almost immediately, the compressed spring sprung itself upward and basically "seat bounced" him upwards. Combine this with the centrifugal force created by Davalos going by him at a high rate of speed and voila, instant endo.

You obviously don't ride or you'd know that. Geeze.

I was standing just to the right of the camera man/lift. So my point of view is he was coming right at me when he crashed! that was nuts. Hit a big braking bump.

That sequence is insane (nice photos Brent, nice Photoshop rc41..) but what amazes me is that:

a.) He held on to the bars that long

b.) He got back up and in the race

c.) He apparently crashed there a second time while trying to come back up through the pack!
