I love miles and miles and miles of mountain single track after a good rain....

New Tires

Holeshots

Passing people...I smile just thinking about passing someone that is trying as hard as they can to stay in front of you and there is nothing they can do to prevent the pass.

I used to love jumping a new jump the first time, and landing it perfecting (when I crash on it, it doesn't make me "tic", it usually makes me "crack"...and that's the opposite of what this thread is about).

Did I mention passing people?

Corners Corners Corners...

Never been a great jumper but even when I rode a trail bike as a kid against the others on Mxers I could rip a corner to shreds... The best is a semi soft rutted berm, technical stuff is fun to ride!

This may seem weird, but the sound.

It was always easy for me to remember back to the days when I started out and my YZ80 went wahp wahp wahp when I was riding 80 beginner, and I would watch the faster guys and love how their bikes sounded.

When I was riding 125 and 250 expert, I could sometimes hold it on for just a couple of more feet, thinking that a little 80 beginner might have been watching and hoping that his bike would someday bark like that, and it would inspire him to get out there and try harder.

That and chics.

A little bit of the last 2 ^. I remember looking at some of the B and A riders and wishing that someday I could be like that. And a good set of whoops makes me smile, if I can get a good run and my suspension is working decent, I can hammer the shit out of 'em Cool

For me, going to new tracks and putting all the pieces together to make it flow. I get so excited when I get a chance to go ride a new track I almost have to rub one out!

Oh yea, and winning my class on my 125cc two stroke Sunday against all those bad ass loud 450's. haha

The most common thing that makes me "tic" while riding, is poontang. I think about poon about 85% of the time while riding.

Actually, now that I think about it, that's not much different from when I'm NOT riding.

Seriously.

When you have a new chick or maybe a friend whos never seen you race. You talk yourself up to them so then when they are actually there to see it for themselves you have some pressure on you. Last time I pulled the holeshot and got my first win of the year. Nothing was better then that

Maybe other people experinece similar emotions in their hobbies? If not, they should envy us! I perfect berm, before the perfect table, going full throttle on a good looking bike while leading a race and the loved ones are watching, seems like a good weekend experience!Keep posting people!

Whenever I go to the track with my friend Tim. If I can beat him that day it is a good day. We are so close on speed it is ridiculous. I struggle with corner speed sometimes but on the days I am "on it" I can't wait to go back and ride. A bad day riding is the better than the best day working.

Been thinking about putting my shuffle on my collar (it clips) and running music on rides. How are you doing it?
I got an I pod nano. I use ear buds and they can be a bit tough to get the helmet on without them popping out of my ears. I wish I would have gone for the shuffle just for the fact I have seen guys thata velcro the shuffle to the under sided of the helmet visor and put speakers in the helmet I still might go that way. I have a sports arm strap that I put on my wrist and just run the wires for the ear buds down my back. Yes you can still hear your bike and others. Even with Pantera cranking.

That's the opposite of me...I always talk myself down to people that have never seen me ride...that way, they don't have expectations I can't fill.

Nothing worse than a dude that talks himself up to people that don't ride/never seen him ride...only to watch him ride and he sucks. (Not saying that's you)

I prefer to "under promise over deliver" when it comes to my riding ability.

But it's fun to tell people that I'm "not very fast" and then win the race...leaves a much better impression than telling them I'm "really fast" and then not doing good at all.

Must my opinion though.
