never will forget. my dad enlisted shortly after pearl harbor was attacked. he had just turned 17 and lied about his age to get in. was a submariner in the pacific. he never got over the hatred. lot of parallels with 9/11.

RIP to the millions of Iraq, Afghanistan, Syrian and Libyan people who lost their lives, livelihoods or country because of that day as well.

Great to see the support. Never forget 9-11-2001. I still can’t believe it today. I had a double date in the North Tower big energy in the building. The 1993 bombers received redused sentences this year, I can’t believe our system. One project we had in Jersey we saw the sun rise behind the Towers every morning. The most powerful sun rise I ever saw.

Every year I watch the scenes and it brings it all right back. The chills, the anger, the watery eyes.... and finally, the resolve.

God bless all those who lost their lives...their families too. ...and all the LEO and first responder heroes. Bless those who went on to defend our freedom. Especially those who paid the ultimate price.

Never forget...

Let’s keep the families and children who lost their fathers and mothers in this tragedy! Firefighters, Police, and people are still paying the ultimate sacrifice to this day from the effects of the conditions down there.

People here are gonna be mad at you but you’re right. 9/11 death toll 2,996.

The Costs of War Project estimates that between 897,000 and 929,000 people have been killed in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and other post-9/11 war zones.

Never forget. Flight 93 went right over my house just before crashing. My wife was working in the
garden and heard the jets engines screaming. She looked up and saw the jet way lower and faster than any jet has ever gone over our house. She knew something was wrong. It crashed about 10 minutes later about an hour from my house by driving. Those passengers are heroes.

I remember it well. And the meaningless wars that followed, just as tragic.

It was a terrible tragedy. One of the things I remember is every American coming together. Just walking around, on the news and in the songs that came out, everyone seemed to be on the same page. We need to stick together boys. It’s very important.

Not to derail anything but there’s a new 9/11 documentary on Netflix called Turning Point that’s a pretty good watch.

I'm by no means an American....I'm half savage born in Africa yet I have huge respect for you USA fellows and even more respect for all first responders during 9/11.

The lives lost on 9/11 will always be in my thoughts.

The brave during all wars are remembered so will the lives that were lost.

Salute yea Band o Brothers...

This isn't the time or place for that discussion. 9/11 is about remembering and honoring those that lost their lives on that day.

I’m from the UK and I was 7 at the time just got home from school and watched the 2nd plane hit. Being a kid I didn’t really know what was going on but I remember it all very clearly. R.I.P to all the people who unfortunately passed. Still to this day it amazes me how selfless some people were going in there to rescue others knowing that they probably wouldn’t make it out themselves.

What I’m trying to say is 9/11 had a huge effect on modern day history. Countless people (American/nato/various armed forces of previous mentioned countries/civilians killed by indiscriminate drones or suicide bombs) unfortunately lost their lives due to the repercussions of that day. All deserve to be remembered and respected.

My fault for not making that clearer.
