Hi Biondo.

After your last thread asking whether Grant Langston would be returning to the TV broadcast got a few funny and, ahem, jabbing responses from the Vital MX flying circus, the thread was frozen and no comments could be added. But I wanted to add something after I looked at some of your previous posts: I think you might deserve an apology because you appear to be a 67-year-old newcomer to the sport that's riding a 2001 Suzuki RM250, wearing more protective gear than the entire 250 class at Ironman, and asked a seemingly honest question about the TV crew. You appear to be someone who may not necessarily be in the moto trenches as much as the rest here seem to be. If that's the case, please don't take offense to those comments, as this has been a rather touchy subject since last Thursday. (And if that's not the case, congrats on building an 18-month cover with amazing patience and consistency, only to trade it all in on another one of these "TVaxx" threads.) Enjoy that RM250, and the races on TV, Biondo, and don't let us vitards get you down.

Best thing I’ve read here in months. Yes, Biondo is a good guy.

Not sure if I’d ever read anything from biondo, but using him wearing protective gear as an insult seems sort of odd……

Looking through his posts (like DC did) it sounds like he’s ridden motorcycles for some time, just not MX. Talked about his kid riding an RM85, etc.

Seems a bit over the top.

Oh man, I wasn’t insulting him, just a description. I was referring to some of his posts in full kit, much more so than anyone racing this past weekend.

I hope Biondo sees this as I thought the same thing after seeing vital jump his shit immediately. It was not too long ago he was just getting his RMZ and meeting people at Cahuilla. Cheers to DC for making this post for him.

DC since your checking out vital how about comping Brent some pit passes or entry for what he’s trying to do with his new Euro friend? I’m sure any help would be appreciated!

I just read up on that too and it's pretty cool what Brent is doing. Ask him to shoot me an email: DC@racerxonline.com (or if you're seeing this, Brent).

And Biondo, you too!

See you guys at the races.

Okay, perhaps I read it wrong. Sounded like it was a dig at him, but I can see where I may have gotten it wrong.

My apologies for assuming the worst while reading on my small phone screen.

Seemed more like a dig on the 250 class and lack protective gear these days. You don't have to wear a lot of gear to have more on than the cool kids these days. Doug Henry just took off his kidney belt!

Hey DC,
Since you are reading this, how about allowing equal displacement in the 250 class. Everyone talks about growing the sport. This is what the fans want.
