Who will be at Pro-Circuit next season?

Edited Date/Time 9/8/2021 7:28am
Mitch definitely needs some good talent. Nearly the whole team needs to be fired.
Shimoda: Earned his ride all year. He needs to be the highest paid on this team now.
McAdoo: Track hazard and crash artist, must retire while he can still walk.
Forkner: Had all SX season to work on Motocross and he's slower than he's ever been.
Smith: Fades and crashes out, not worth a ride anymore.
Hammaker: Has more potentional than the 3 above his name combined. He could stay.

BUT the "main 3" of this team need to go. None have proven anything for over 2 years.

What's your thoughts guys?

Keep forkner and Macadoo and send smith out. Who you replace smith with is unknown. Forkner had a serious crash and maybe it’s possible it’s in his head alittle? Also he hasent raced outdoors since 2019? He’s starting to come around and he only has 1 year left anyway right? You know he will ride his ass off because he needs a 450 ride

Forkner had a gnarly injury and his talent wont disappear - deserves a last chance. IMO Forkner and Sushi need to be there for sure McAdoo nearly won them an SX title so you cant write him off - I have no real exposure to their amateur guys so wont bother with an opinion there.

McAdoo was in second for the title, but his riding was far from "nearly winning them a title"

He was actually 3rd but I was referring to the situation pre DaYtona-MCA crashes. He stayed in it and it was his first real exposure to Ch/Ship pressure - He should handle it better this time round but I'll leave that up to MItch. The only 100% deserved ride is Shimoda and I would even go as far as to say I agree his base salary should be the highest of them all.

I’m not sure on Hammaker, I know his constant illness has become a concern.

I know it will be between him or Jett. If Jett stays down, Hammaker will be there, but Jett wants to race supercross next year.

Jett says he’s going, so maybe a six man team?

Yes Shimoda needs to make the most money next year. I hope he got all his teammate's Bonus money for carrying the team all Motocross season. After McAdoo and Forkner kept having CRASH-itis I was waiting to see video of Mitch firing everybody between motos.

Seth is under contract for 2022. There is no concern for illness, he got a concussion at Budds.

Ryder D is not on the team right now. He's racing A next year.

Are you sure DiFrancesco is moving up in 2022? I thought he was riding A class.

I think there's going to be 6 guys on the team.

Shimoda, Forkner, Hammaker, McAdoo, Reynolds, and 1 other.

I'm just curious what you're going to do with all the time you saved typing "Ch/ship"

Personally, if I were team manager, I would have Ryder D run B next year, A the following and move up after LL. It's too much too soon IMO. But I think the Combine at Ironman completely killed the idea of him staying B next year.

Personally after watching Ryder D ride... he is ready to go pro.. i would not be shocked at all to see him turn pro at the start of the nationals next year... Reed and a few others believe turning pro and getting the BS behind you early in your career is the best route if you have the talent that is... and he has it...

There's a big difference in being talented and being ready for pro racing. He's definitely talented but not ready for pro racing. Speed is only one part of the equation.

Along this story. I think they should move these kids up slower than they do. Lets say Ryder turns pro next sx season, and somehow wins his first sx title as a rookie. He'd already be done in the 250 class the the start of 2024 because of the BS pointing out championship rule. It progresses talent to move up too fast too soon. Ruins a lot of guys careers, or at least delays them 3 years before becoming successful again.
