Went full stupid and purchased a titanium front axle. Why not right? Probably will get the CRF rear axle titanium over the winter/for Christmas to make it matching because I need to shred some more weight.. lol 😂 I just love the awesomeness.

I am always open to try new suspension items…
The Zeta free piston has always caught my eye but never had a KYB fork to try, so now I do, I will trying out the standard and the light weight/ plush version.
My rear shock has some play in it and definitely can’t stand it… So changing out all the shock/linkage bearings so she has that brand new feeling again.
Definitely the coolest thing I am trying is the Merge Racing fork rising rate spring.. I bought both springs to test out and honestly think this will be a great fork upgrade when set up correctly. My suspension guy and I are very stoked to get this going.. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 https://www.mergeracing.com/collections/front-suspension-parts/products…

Your builds are sweet. I’m pretty shocked you went with tusk bearings over oem though I mean you don’t skimp on any of the other parts. I’ve never had good luck with aftermarket brand needle bearings like tusk/ pivot works etc.

Thank you…I am weird for sure about parts.
I will deal with the tusk, I am trying to figure out where the play is. With my mechanics discount they are just such a good deal I will run with it until the snow is 2 feet deep and reconsider my decision/replace over the winter. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
This plan will be more expensive in the long run, since I will go OEM most likely over the winter but I had a bachelor party at the time of purchase and the bucks I saved paid for a strippers groceries for a month.. 🤦🏼‍♂️❤️🎄
Just kidding but maybe not

Not sure which is better looking, the bike or the scenery in which you get to ride it.

Is that Guts seat a tall seat? It looks a little taller than my Husky tall seat.

Yes it is, it’s +30 mm or 20mm taller than the rockstar edition seat. My guess you are at +10mm or + 20mm?

If you are looking for a change, the roaring fork valley where we live needs so many more awesome hard working people.. housing is a shit show but when you get it, the valley is incredible. The other plus is Moab is less than 4 hours away

Very nice bike!
How did the origina spring conversion compare the KYB conversion? And for the spring conversion did you have the spring side fork revalved to match the new cartridge? Also, how is the shock action with the kashima coated parts?

I only want to address the suspension one time on my new 350, so your input is helpful. I think I'm gonna do the lucky inserts up front and Tank w/ low friction band in the shock. Maybe the triple bypass adjuster too. I have KYB's on my 300 and want to do something else this time around. Thanks!

Thank you, she is my child…
The KTECH AER conversion was good but not even in the same ballpark as the KYB kit. It almost not apples to apples IMO. Yes I had the spring side re sprung and re valved with the KTECH from motovate racing. I don’t have massive hours on the Kashima coated rear suspension parts but the rear shock feels better than before but that could be the placebo of purchasing cool shit.. lol The pro circuit full linkage was a huge upgrade but there is so many awesome linkages out there. We are running the Showa rear shock piston instead of a Racetech goldvalve piston and it’s working really well.

Which lucky kit, regular or carbon? The tank is awesome but it’s a piston not a bladder kit like most shock reservoir kit I.E the Racetech shock reservoir kit. I don’t have any experience with the low friction kit but for the cost seems like a easy decision and bummed I didn’t make the purchase as well. I bought titanium bolts instead of the triple adjuster but that’s silly.

Honestly if I was looking for something else to try and wasn’t going KYB it would Lainer suspension. But each to their own my man.

His rear suspension parts are slick as well. Also look at Luxon Mx for rear suspension parts.

I got awesome news… the compression adjuster piston on the rear shock was out of place and boom no more play in the rear end! Stocked for sure to not have replace all those bearings.

Honestly Zeta products have been great for me. The case saver is pretty dang slick, the free piston is nothing incredible but will do the job IMO and the fork caps worked very well on the first rip. They just release air instead of oil and air. The fork was perfect after every stop to press the magic gold air release button. My stuff was probably made on a pay day Friday, lol.
Hammerhead has always been so spot on! Covid has made their parts a wee bit harder to get a hold of, not complaining! All awesome shit has been fucked up Covid.
