Wonder how well brighter more vivid colors look on white plastic.

We used to dye plastic parts on R/C race cars all the time. Never had any fading or other issues

RC cars use mostly nylon. Nylon takes dye very well because it absorbs water. MX plastics are not nylon so I don't know how well they take dye. I think they are poly propylene. It is water proof so I don't know if it will take dye.

I've seen a lot of guys talk about it on Thumpertalk. Mainly Yamaha owners dyeing blue YZ fuel tanks black. A lot of gun enthusiast use it too. The consensus is that it works when dyeing lighter colors to a darker color but not really the other way around. It also sometimes takes repeating the process to get good results.

Nobody makes injected mold pink plastic for a 2007 KX125/250 tho. I can get white. But idk how well pink dye would take to white plastic if at all. Would it look as brilliant/bright as that TM plastic....
